Well, as most of you aware I bought this off adam a while back with a dead motor.
Having put a new motor in it and begun to improve things, its developed a rattle in the gearbox as of yesterday - fairly sure the box is on it way out.
I really dont know if I can financially go down this road, so might just pass it on to someone who can finish it and enjoy it.
So -
1991 Subaru Liberty Heritage - 4wd turbo conversion - full engineering report for the conversion and permits for mods. 231 000 on chasis
1997 Legacy EJ20H - 61 000 upon purchase, 4000km since
4.11 JDM box and diff
TD05, fmic, 3 inch exchuast which has a 10 day old cat back section to raise and make the car legal from a sound point of view
Made 220 @ wheels in 13 psi, driven on 11 - so easily go another 20 or 30 hp with a few more pounds.
Walbro fuel pump 3500km old
4 pot calipers up front
02 sti rims - rear tyres are great, fronts arnt
wrx struts - has coilovers that come with car, but the rears need resealing
Leather interior - also have pair of gt legacy seats, electric drivers, as front drivers seat isnt perfect.
brand new (sat morn) eclipse cd/mp3/wma/ipod control deck with the cable, kicker amp, mb quart splits rear and kicker splits front - sounds quite decent.
Heritage so full electrics and climate control, working air con, non working sun roof.
The bad - box is not happy.
Paint is also rather unhappy - it will need a respray at some point. Body is not perfect, but pretty damn good for its age.
With the stock ecu and new exhaust the car drives really nicely, not loud or annoying and the paperwork is a huge plus for the car. Regoed until next month also.
Id take 3k for the car, or it may end up being parted out. Still not entirely sure I want to do this really.
