mrs is looking for a new phone either for around $300 or that comes on a $30 cap. she wants at least 3mp, internet and bluetooth. currently looking at 6210 navigator and she got told steer clear of the 6220 classic. anybody know of any phones that fit the criteria?
DUDE just get the little nokia they come in black red and silver worth like 149 bucks its what ive got stashed as my back up fone has camera bluetooth ect ill find model and post in a minute but they are hard to kill! ive done 3 though out of my own drunken stupidity and drunken penchant for water! :)

whats wrong with the 6220 classic? mines taken a bashing with no complaints over the last 9 months, even the battery life is out to 2.5 days of average use, brilliant speaker phone on it as well, picture quality of the 5mp camera isnt as clear as id like, but no nokia is compared to my old k800i sony, that camera was brilliant

i would definately recommend the K800i... 3.2MP, bluetooth and internet.
i've had mine for 2 years now (bought it for $299 from vodafone, and flashed to normal K800i/K810i firmware), and i've only just bought a new phone today (another sony ericsson, C905) as i need the jiggle the plug in the bottom every now and there for my charger/headset to work.. apart from that its a great phone.

I have had a few phones since my K800i, all with higher camera pixels and rubbish functions, I still rate the camera the best, and it cops a flogging and still goes forever, I keep it as a spare.

i got a 6320 classic, you know the replacement for the 6300.. wouldnt buy it again
the battery died after 3 months which they replaced. but the main thing i dont like about it is the cheap build quality. the back cover comes off too easily, and can fall off if you drop the phone... just a small thing but IMO a phone shouldnt even slightly fall apart when you drop it. it should be solid enough to withstand daily use.
generally the phone doesnt feel that solid compared to samsungs or sony's
maybe i should have got the 6300..

another happy k800i owner
i've got a c902 atm which has 5mp camera but the k800i pics are shitloads better, especially when the flash is needed, xenon flash owns the pos on the c902
i've kept my old phone in case this one fucks up lol, it's a solid unit and only trouble i ever had was the charger being dicky, this is just from dust getting into the holes the charger plugs into, clean them out and works perfect

best cheap phone imo is the Nokia 3120 classic.
its in run out atm, cost like $99 new has a nice simple interface, good screen, easy as fuck to text on, MP3 ringtones, bluetooth etc but only a 2mp camera so maybe not good enough.
I had one, dropped it a million times, still worked, has none of the usual Nokia Gremlins, nothing falls off it or breaks, accepts micro SD cards too and it lasts days even with heavy use.

my nokia i got a couple years ago was 69 bucks, dropped it numerous times, has had lots of oil on it, battery lasts almost 2 weeks and does it its suposed to... receives calls.
recently obtained a flashy motorolla has all the fruit.. battery lasts like 48 hours - cracked the shits and back to the nokia.
cheap basic nokia's will last and take abuse, these new slide phones are shit

Don't see why not - just make sure the phone is not locked to a network and you should be fine. Most phones these days support the 3G network.
