"Bring back DVD's not STD's " is what i tell everyone that goes to Bali ... my old lady is heading there in a couple of weeks and im trying to put together a list of DVD's for her to bring back along with a wife for TJ.

Suggestions ?

Yeah go for the TV shows for sure.

Movies are freely available nowdays for no more than 700 meg and when you buy the newer movies in bali, you run the risk of picking out camera recordings etc.

Yeah i got bout 120 movies from bali couple of weeks ago.
Id say over 50% are either shit copy's, not even watchable or they freeze and skip.
All the tv series i got are great, i would recomend them over movies.

Any movie that is currently out or came out in last month or 2 on DVD will be shit house quality and not worth it.

Went to Bali same time as Matt (vsclubby) and I bought a heap of DVD's, ie. Terminator 4, Adventure Land, Transformers 2, Hangover ... all of them are awesome quality. Sometimes you get lucky :)

you know... you could always ask them if the copy is DVD quality or taped from the cinema... but being "foreigners" you'd probably get lied to anyway lol

dvd movies are like 7.99 new in perth i dont get why people buy bali ones just to have silhouettes walking across the screen and shit lol
