I'm looking at replacing the stock speakers in my car, problem being that they're 4"x6" and there's bugger all room available to put something sensible in there. was just wondering if anybody knows of any decent speakers in that size that'll fit. front and rear are the same size and same problem.
car is a porsche 944 turbo just so you've got an idea of the lack of space that i'm working with.
money wise i don't mind paying decent coin if it means getting decent sound. there's also some mystery amp in the boot. pretty sure it's got power but not wired up to anything at the moment. wires just dead end on the opposite side of the boot.
so, any suggestions?

Wouldn't be too sure on what to get, it is an odd size but I found this. Seems like alright prices. Personally in my experience Pioneer and JBL have the best sound quality.

my mate had odd size speakers in his bmw.
went to alberts and they had the right stuff.
he ended up getting mb quartz (german brand specializing in only speakers i think), so he ended up picking up those.
theyre abit pricey though, being german, hand made etc etc. but obviously quality.

cheers kirbo, replied. my main problem is that i've got no idea who makes good speakers these days too. will be talking to the boys at alberts.

Mate,
We got plenty of 4x6" speakers in stock, ranging from basic 2 way co-axials (starting from $99) all the way through to high end German Maestro (as Gazza uses)
PM me for a quote mate... I will beat anyones prices and make sure that you get something decent.

Rob! This is in no way urgent by any means, but do you stock 8" speakers?
