probably about 7-8 years old, off the top of my head, if the car is running fine i wouldnt bother changing it, however if it needs a tune and more mods are planned, sure why not upgrade?

depends on how far u want to go with future mods...digi series microtechs arent a bad computer, and will do the job just fine even with a semi wild setup..if it was a d4 or d5 then bin it, but the digis arent a bad unit...if its running fine leave it in there i reckon...

a digi 2... is it running fuel & ignition, ie does it have a dizzy or a crank angle sensor?
if its fuel only (running a dizzy) i would up grade if you can afford it.

the microtech mtx-8 is a good comp or the new lt-10s is the bomb and the turbo smart boost controllers are probablly the best controller without going electronic
imo

the latest mtechs are great and i would save ur money and get an electronic boost controller its worth the wait trust me i went from a turbosmart dual stage to a greddy profec A......now boost ramps up massivly makes it VERY fun to drive lol. the turbosmart was crap really IMO.
