Out of warranty? Dell extended all warranties by 1 year since its a known fault

yeh by 2 months, i tryed that my mates told be about that, but dell reckon is your buy the laptop off a auction site(new or used) warranty is voided. what a load of crap. i dont know what to do with em, they will do anything to save money the bastards.
