Sorry for my ignorance, I know a 10.53 is obviously a fucking quick pass, But how does the terminal speed factor in?

That guys seems in love with the system. Crazy engineers.

looks like an NA 2jz with the turbo strapped on unless hes running a dizzy on purpose. also..i dont really see the point ? all this piping and work and he only puts out 630rwhp ? i was sure 2jz could make that power iwth that large turbo alone ?

He could make that power with a big single, but running the smaller turbo as well will help to eliminate the lag associated with a big single. Well thats my understanding of it all anyway.
This new revolutionary turbo kit will finally meet the goals of every turbocharger enthusiast. While compound turbocharging is usually used on diesel applications, we have devised a method for this kit to work on a gasoline powered engine. Unparalleled low and midrange torque coupled with high horsepower. There’s no need for nitrous as this kit spools up as if it’s always on nitrous. The compound turbocharger kit builds 20psi at 2800 rpms while flowing enough air to make 800+ RWHP!

Awesome stuff, but probably when you factor in the price of the kit I think a single will probably be best bang for buck.

What do you mean?
It's an indication of how fast the car can go with a good launch. With 144MPH he has the potential to go much faster.

well der.
If all you want is top end you buy a big single.
The idea behind this is the low RPM power of a small turbo, with the high rpm power of a big turbo.
Kind of like the stock 2J TT setup in concept, except on steroids.

lag with a 2jz ? would be minimal i would have thought? you think a worked 2jz with cams ect could be tuned enough to give you some midrange with still rather large snail stilling putting out more power then that? i dunno to me seems like a load of wank but...to others genius

Well dur...
Im not talking about how it works, im talking about COST. Unless you have very deep pockets (unlike 99% of ppl and hence COST plays a big part in turbo selection) a big single on a 2J will still be the overall best option IMO.
Still, the concept is awesome and if I had cash to burn, this would be a very attractive option. Power without lag FTW.

Yes very expensive setup but the finished result far outweighs the price tag
I've. Been in the supra and mr2 that Tristan has built and it's indescribeable
incredible setup
