For sale:FC Rx7 bridgeport 400+rwhp
Item Condition: mechanically brilliant, exterior ok
Price and price conditions: $14,000ono (will take offers) price dropped from $15,000
Extra Info:
Mazda RX-7 Series 4. 13B Bridgeport Turbo built by Lee Sanders
Black Series 4, with sunroof (no rust), full coilover suspension, twin 3' mandrel bent stainless steel exhaust with large mufflers. Front ventillated discs. Interior is in good condition.

About the engine: 13B Bridgeport Turbo Engine, built by Lee Sanders The engine has 3mm Hurley Seals, and has been dowelled. There is a front mount intercooler, 1600cc injectors, Bosch 700hp Fuel pump, thermo fan, oil catcher, also brand new wastegate 44mm.

Electronics: Microtech LT10S computer.
Wheels: 17" Kakimoto racing wheels ( with good amount of dish) also 16' NISMO lightweight racing wheels that can come with the car.

The car will be making over 400rwhp (prob around 420ish) as I'm getting it dynoed this week.

Coilover suspension HSD brand good quality and helps the car to handle brilliantly.

Unsure how many k's the engine has done, but it's not many I bought it with 2,500k's on the engine, and have driven it barely ever.

I bought the car unregistered and then spent about One and half or more years getting it all good and ready for the pits.
This is a quote from the original advertisement "Replacement cost for the engine alone is close to $20,000" and i believe this to be true.

The car also come with a lot of spares just to list a few:
fibreglass wide rear guards ( iwas going to wide body the car)
spare boot lid
spare gear box
spare rear assembly, including diff and rear brakes. (diff apparently has strengthened internals) unsure on how to verify this though)
spare exhaust which was used for getting over the pits, quietens it down heaps and was very useful cost 600+ to get made up.
spare softer and slightly higher suspension
few boxes of bits and pieces including those highly sought after triangle vents.

In order to get over pits I did heaps of work to the car to ensure it was up to standard, anything electrical that wasn't working was repaired by a qualified electrician, it also has some stealth heating for the front windscreen, which I'll explain further to any potential buyers.

Car sounds absolutely brilliant with the bridgey, I would love to keep it but I just can't anymore, need to get something more sensible. I was using this to get to and from work, so it is very drivable.

Pictures:
These pictures are all a bit old but car looks very similar except rims are bigger and better. I will get some more up soon.

Is the engine bay shot from the same car, or another car?

If its from this car, and its red as in the photo, this is definitely my brother-in-law's old RX7, just resprayed... I'd recognise that exhaust, catch can setup, Nismo wheels, HSD coilovers and engine setup anywhere.

Diff is a Series 5 diff, which is apparently a bit stronger than Series 4... hence the "strengthened internals".

If anyone wants a bit more history on the car, can produce that because I know exactly whats been done to it and where its been.

Could possibly be his, the entire engine setup was transplanted from one FC to another. This one used to be red but was resprayed black.

That is a pic from the engine bay of the car the engine is currently in, the back of the engine bay is red but the car is black, has never bothered me.

cheers

That would be his!

My brother-in-law crashed his FC a few years ago, had a bit of front end damage but nothing bad enough to damage the engine or anything like that (panels, rad and cooler were damaged). He got tired of it, sold it, and someone bought it... it was repairable, thats why I wonder if this was his old car just repaired.

Can vouch for how awesome the motor is in this car, no expense spared. Turbo was a HKS T04R when Matt had it, had HKS gate on it but obviously this has been replaced.

Don't think its the came car but just repaired, pretty sure its a different one, but with all the same gear.

Yeh the engine is amazing, not sure what gate is on it now, lee sanders is putting a new one in this week as the old one was leaking boost, hence why I'm not sure what power it will be making? hoping for something good.

cheers mate

turbo

non plural! the engine would be great im sure but 20k is a serious call ... half it and you got yourself a realistic selling point.

somebody buy this and go fight volvo stageas with standard internal motors!

good point I didn't put in what turbo, sorry, I'm pretty sure its a T61, I'll double check soon though.

i'll put some new pics in the first post so you can see the rims.

Yeh I agree with that 20k for the engine alone seems a bit steep, might have been with turbos etc.

Ok guys just came back from the tuners and made 419rwhp at 18psi. Lee said the guys a roto's were pretty impressed.

Turbo is a t04 60-1, so pretty small for that type of power.

also just put in a brand new 44mm tial wastegate.
