Was waiting for you to comment Rhys haha. Reminds me so much of your wags from yesteryear.
Duste, no skid pig mate, replacing my ute as my daily
I owe its good condition to the previous owner in his mid 40's who services it every 5thou.

That is very ironic, little bro was a passenger at the time when his mate whom was driving hit an aquaplane and lost it, fucking small world that you're on here!

CAI and K and N filter makes a big difference in power and economy on these. Cheap mod. Wagon looks very nice mate. I had a VQ and it got nicked from a very full carpark, I would be installing some security and or a kill switch ASAP.

Yeah got immobiliser and kill switch happening already
Economy is pretty shit, 400 to tank FTL.. so CAI and panel filter helps a bit? or a poofy POD ?
stumps.

When i had mine returned from the dirty theives they had removed the CAI and k and N and installed a pod. The fuel economy was worse and it sounded terrible. I would go the CAI and a K and N. On my vq it increased economy by 50k's to a tank. on my vs ss it increased abour 75 but i had full exhaust on the vs.
My Vx ss now rarely gets over 400k's to a tank city driving thats with mafless tune and a K and N intake. A 5lt will never be more economical than a gen3 despite the smaller capacity. So depending on tank size 400k's osnt that bad if you use it for short trips

Thought it was :) Scary shit watching it, saw it happen about 2 years before in the exact same place also. They were very lucky to not have ended up in the storm drain catchment instead of just the runoff. Nice bunch of guys too, was glad to have helped them out.
I'm pretty sure I saw you cruise through Harvey on the weekend as I was coming home from Perth with a mate. It looks very tidy on the road

did you dyno it or put it down the strip to judge?
in my experience there aint alot of pwr to be had from these 5.0 with little bolt ons.
my old daily VP 5.0 Berlina wagon (auto) did mid 15's stock and low pretty much flat 15's with the addition of CAI and cat back exh. Did have a great note for cruising and skids though.
Good lookn wags mate.
