He ran yesterday morning, apperently he was desperate to sell both MR2s but i had made up my mind already...

This is same year as the MR2 less power but better body and suspension..

It has a 2.25inch cat back but under the rear suspension it goes to 2inch, stock muffler with tips...
Its real quiet at idle but once it hits 4000rpm, its louder than the civic..

Haha, i have a 3" straight through system on mine, loud is an understatement.

Nice work dude, the car looks clean as and those rims suit it nicely.
I'm sure it handles a lot better than the civic?

Too much too do to fit the B18c into the car, i can get the D16 built with the tranny, and turbo installed for less, and get more HP..

I still don't know why you turbo every car you get... i know you want the power and turbo is cheap but in my opinion its a waste.

The car handles exceptionally well with great suspension and what you want is power from the get go - not at 4000rpm.

Hasport mounts, driveshafts and linkages would have maybe set you back 1-1.5K (shipped) and you'd have the B18C in there within a weekend. Spend some time rewiring the ECU and Vtec and you've got a rocket on rails. Even some good engine work and regrinds on the D16 would work great. These cars are light and handle - they don't need crazy amounts of power as it makes them undrivable.

But thats just my 2c and im very anti-turbo in a gen2 crx as it makes it a straight line only car.

Finally got it back after 6 months.
When it comes on vtec pulls pretty hard for a N/A 4cyl, goes a lot harder than the civic.
i was keen on going to Plex for a couple of runs but brake master cylinder seals need replacing, hopefull plex will still be open when its ready.

Just baught a 5Zigen header....
most prob will be going for BuddyClub Spec3 cams then getting it tuned....

lol @ the before AFR's, this is why you dont run the std pfc map!
Nice result on the dyno, very smooth and vtec zone would keep up there on gearchanges. Will suprise a lot of people.
