custom carbon fiber bonnet

hey guys,
first post but ive been lurking round here for a bit,
anyways im in the process of an engine conversion on my project car, the engine in question has a top mount intercooler, wich requires a hole in the bonnet. now that's all and good, but my car happens to be 1 of about 10 in aus so i dont want to go choppin shit up. and since its in need of a respray, my colour theme will be, gun metal grey body, black bumpers, side skirts, and guard flares, and bonnet. black bonnet/carbon fibre, hey means i dont have to cut it, does anyone know where i can get a bonnet made with a scoop moulded in? there is absolutley nothing off the shelf for this car so thats out of the question.

topstage are an aussie CF company and last time i was on their site they said they can make anything custom from carbon fibre. i tried to google their site but it just comes up with everyone talking about it, but yer if you can find them, they can do the job

Properly made frp bonnets weigh sfa! And a genuine dry carbon bonnet (the light ones) will cost a shitload.
Custom carbon in NSW do custom work. I was quoted 2300/mould, 1100/part for a bootlid. So 3400 plus postage of your bonnet over to make the mould and the completed carbon item back.

no it weights the same but carbon is twice as stiff so you don't need as much reinforcing

to give you an idea
i've made glass front ends for drag cars (bonnet front guards )they weigh around 15kg but flex a little
carbon ones are around 12kg and just that bit stiffer made a smaller front end with prepreg carbon and it was 6kg and very stiff
