My mate removed his flasher from an XR8 before the car was sold so whats the deal on using the flasher on another XR8. does it need to be reset or can it be used as normal with the existing tunes on another XR8? the factory tune was returned to the vehicle before he sold it so from what i understand the flasher isnt VIN locked to his old car.

I've put it up on ebay for him then found out it might need resetting? i really dont wanna sell someone a brick so any info appreciated...

it will need resetting before you are able to use it on another car mate.

you have done the right thing by returning the car to factory, without doing that you would have bricked it.

give monstatorque a call about resetting it, guys # is in 03xr6t's sig.
