Hi all, been on this forum a while although i hardly cruise anymore, havnt met most of you probably haha. this is my 32 gtst "J TUNED"

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e283/thrtytwo/DSC02636.jpg

Got it when i was 18, was my first car. now 21. I pretty much love my car so treat it with a bit of respect haha. dont thrash the shit out of it, only buy good parts (hate cheap ebay shit :P), when cash allows :P. Its no where near finished but im starting to make some progress so i figured it was worth posting

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e283/thrtytwo/5.jpg

When i first got it it was stock standard aside from a cat back and a pod filter, and it apparently has a brass button clutch, yet to be confirmed but a few ppl have driven it and said its not stock. It was also sans stereo, not even a head unit.

Since then i have slowly done the following to the car;

As you can see i havent done any huge power mods yet, for a first car it was powerfull enough so i did other stuff first. Meaning power will be on the way soon. Starting to gather parts such as Z32 AFM, bosch 040, sard 550cc injectors, splitfire coilpacks, HKS FPR, HKS EVC V, and a HKS2530 or similar spec turbo then off to C red for nistune.

may also get some adjustable cam gears, researching benefits atm

Also have some more suspension bits sitting, waiting to go on. all the adjustable bushed nolathane sells are in my room and rear cradle bushes are at C red waiting to go into a swap cradle.

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e283/thrtytwo/DSC03712.jpg

Only just had the interior done last week, still gotta order more material from nengun and get the back seat done, then get some bride DIGO's to match. then the inside is done, will just need a GTR front bar and some rims then ill be happy. looking at CE28n's or SSR type F's, thinking silver or black, what u rekon ?

oh, also have a fetish for N1 headlights so might try track some down

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e283/thrtytwo/DSC03815.jpg

never had the car dynod but been to kwinana once and with either spinning wheels or a boggy start every run, BALD rear tyres ( bad camber wear from some burnouts ), and farked synchros in 3rd 4th, managed a 14.4 @ 99mph, so should be able to get into high 13's as it is atm

i think thats about all ive done or plan to do, that i can remember for now. Basic idea of the car is jap tuning house style, nice top shelf parts, a bit understated styling and a good all round package, but a bit more tame than that haha. will keep this car as a nice daily when i get a 34gtr :D

will get some engine bay/interior shots over the weekend

thats beautiful man, are those the tinted tail lights or just normal LED type? love the mirrors, they look right on the car.

great to see another person who doesnt see a GTST 32 as a Shitter, not many clean ones about these days

I suggest remove the front badge, makes the front end look alot cleaner

true that, but id hate to part with my gold badge :P will have to wait and decide when i get a gtr bar

yeh the ganadors are great, but being copys they sit on a slight upward angle, not much, but at some point i think i may order genuine ones so theyre perfectly level lol

Of course I do have a bias for Black 32's!!

just went out to get some shots, exterior is filthy atm cos of rain, makes paint look hell dull :S engine bay is kinda scabby, will get it cleaned up at some point, thinking about getting the engine covers RB26 blue, dunno ifr it would look too blingy though, might just get that black crinkle look. also thinking bout clear cam covers, but probably bit too ricey imo.

forgot to mention the bride material i got is all black, not the usual black -> grey gradiation pattern, but the floor mats are.

you can see my boost guage and link meter there and the shift lamp on the steering column, when i get an HKS EVC ill either put it next to the link meter or in the ash tray spot, dunno yet. all the control units / turbo timer are a bit messy atm cos i took out the din pocket to fab up a better fitting one out of fibre glass, almost done then ill get a carbon fibre face plate for it.

i found it pretty hard to photograph the interior nicely but oh well. cant really tell the roof is different from stock, and all the plastics were painted to match aswell.

Ordered a Carbing radiator diversion panel too as its the first one ive seen to fit gtst. will post pics once its installed

Wow! I really love your interior! who did the bride trims on the doors? I love them very much.. and the floor mats are mint!

how come you have your catch can setup like that? its still breathing oil into the intake :S

interior was done by JC trimming ( i supplied the bride material though), did a good job, would be much more specific about what i want next time though

the catch can has a baffle in it and some steel wool in a stocking lol. i dont think theres much blow by anyways

Yeh well I suppose any breathing its going to do will be on Idle as the one way valve in that fitting on the manifold will shut when boost is applied, so after thinking about it, its better having it the way you have as you dont have to block any lines off as it makes the car unstable at idle.

what did they charge you to apply the material and does it look like its going to come off anytime soon? Im just really not a fan of the vinyl look in mine :P

thrtytwo
05-09-2009, 06:26 PM
price was pretty decent cos its a guy working from home, nah doesnt look like it will come off, decent install my only problem was material positioning, but i should of told him before hand so not his fault.

Was getting serviced today so asked Marc at c red to chuck her on the dyno. Got 200.9 rwhp. Pretty happy with that considering it's stock motor/turbo. Nice smooth curve aswell. Will scan it up later
