Watched it last night and its bloody awesome.

The only thing that is fucking annoying is christian bale and his gay fucking over the top husky voice like he does for batman.

Need to watch all of them again then watch the fourth one again as it tries to tie most of them up ( 2 + 3 mainly ) however still a lot i missed.

possible 5th one as well :| no surprises there

still hunting for Perths best screen and sound to view it on - IMAX has been semi fail in screen size and bad ass sound thus far....3 scenes are supposed to be shot in IMAX though so its a tough call

any recomendations for Perths best cinema?

going to check it out at the new one at innaloo, saw angels and demons in it, awesome seats, side tables and heaps of leg room .... I guess if gold class is the calais, this cinema was the berlina ... forgot what its 'special' name is but?

no way in hell it will be better than terminator 2...that is one of the coolest movies (and sequals) of all time ;)

Cinema is called Event Cinemas and has the big ass screen and upgraded digital sound.

Its bullshit cause i work at Morley and we dont even have 1 digital projector and innaloo now has 4.

just back from seeing it. fecking awesome! if you know the other 3 films really well then there's a lot of references to little things here and there too and not the big obvious things that are always going to be in a franchise film.

agreed that bale could have done better but sam worthington did a really good job of it.

i like that they tie in a lot from the first 2 films, not so much on the 3rd but that one was a little bit out there on it's own from the get go.

that they showed you in the trailer that he was a robot. That could have been a huge twist but they fucking ruined it! Its not like they needed it in the trailer to promote a new terminator movie the franchise would sell even if you showed a metal skull with the movies release date.
Although the arnie bot was a good suprise and for a 3d animation wasnt to bad!

Oh hell yeah. Watched it last night and it rocked. Few scenes that didn't make sense to me (i.e. why the magnetic mines didn't get attracted to the bike etc when they were escaping and how the hell a helicopter would fly next to a nuclear blast, I would have thought the EMP wave would knock it out).

But hell yeah. T800 scenes FTW. No shitty girly terminators. Real badass ones!

have to disagree with you there. i think he's poo. i don't know what it is about him but i just never really found him convincing as john connor. even the guy that plays him in the telly series did a better job i think.

like how he gets his scar from the start of T2. that was a cool add-in. i read somewhere that arnold does some voice acting. i didn't hear him say anything?

awesomely entertaining movie; christian bale is a brilliantly strong actor. forget his gay accent; he's a pom, remember? and the hardcore leader of the resistance. i wouldn't want my leader sounding any different. tonnes of plot holes for the very rushed ending. could've done with more violence (that's what the first 2 movies are strong for). and who says to themself "yeah, let's hire Common... he plays the part well".... fail hard.
