FWIW, picked up a good condition fridge/freezer combo out of the Quokka for $50 - not a single issue with it at all, stone cold, seals are great.

There is an lg factory seconds joint on main street in ossie park. Got a 4k fridge there the other week for 1400 with the slightest of scratches on the rear of fridge which isn't even visable when installed

im between ossie park and midland at the moment, but can travel for a good deal.
2nd hand may be an option, but TBH prefer something with warranty.

yeh those factory second shops are a bit hit and miss.. i looked at a scratched oven at the Ozzy Park rick hart one they wanted $2200 for which was rrp$5499 new and $3900 cost price from my other mate at rick hart..
the scratched one was sold but the guy said he would get me a brand new one for the same price - he was true to his word and a brand spanking new one rocked up that afternoon at our house.. bargain!!!

yea rick heart in canning vale i think picked up a 1300 dollar washing machine for 900 or so with the smallest scratchs on it.

We got a 50 (127cm) inch LG plasma from Rick Hart 2nds a while ago, was 1400 with a slightly damaged box, Bargain, the goods were good.

went to good guys, had brand new for $50 less than rick hard seconds
probably be worth looking at the factory seconds places if you were spending more
