LOL at FC3 :P
The zed is an historic racer. Originally it was going to get RB26 or 2JZ treatment. While i was saving i had a crack at regularity and hillclimbs/sprints. MASSIVE fun, quickest in a competetive field, and can't compete with that many mods/engine swap so the L28 stays.
BTW, that blue one is owned by a 21 yr old guy in america. Now sports a 350Z engine soon to be twin turbo... I want it... ALOT... infact i'm tempted to paint my car that colour when i respray it some time next year...

the ld28 cranks are quite rare and people want a mint for them...
though brings the L28 out to 3.1lt or so?

Yeah i looked into diesel cranks a couple years ago and they are WAY too expensive. I'm happy with where it's at. Doesn't need a rebuild just yet so it's staying as is for now anyway.
Stroke and 80 Thou bore takes it to 3.1L. It's currently 60" bore so stroke would take it to pretty much 3.1 anyway. Not a whole lot of extra power when you stroke though, more the extra torque, and it's got heaps!

Can someone link me to a build thread of that, or tell me what that colour is? I'm in love.
