hey guiys just walked into my bedroom and i flicked the light switch on and nothing.

usually there is a 60w beam of light that is produced from a glass bulb in the ceiling but yeah .... nothing.

Any ideas ?

Had the same problem, could not for the life of me diagnose it.

Ended up moving house, candles are too espensive to live off.

was gonna call and electrician or just change the bulb myself but i thought id come on here and ask for advice cos im too stupid to figure shit out for myself ....

might just wait n see if it comes back on.

Could be a few problems

1 - your fuckin blind

I'm sure you'll find a competent electrician one here who will be able to do such a dangerous task as replacing a light bulb. My sparky mate gets calls like that all the time haha.

This happened to me, So I just painted everything White, makes it more visible.

Also try removing excess walls and roof?

Just stand in the centre of the room until you get an idea. A globe will appear and instant illumination.

Considering the costs of after hours electricians I'd wait and see if the light fixes itself, taking it to a late night leccy means you have no option other then to get the bulb destroyed.
If I was you I'd ask on the forums the smartest thing to do as making a decision by yourself seems retarded.

The standard incandescant bulb has now been banned from importation so go to Bunnings and buy a box of 100 before you have to pay $10 for a compact Fluoro!
