Hi All,

This has been put up on another forum, it's for a good cause so please feel free to post up on as many forums as you can.

This is an open cruise but if you're going to rock up act like a dickhead, don't even bother coming.
Excercise some restraint and have respect for the drivers and cars around you.
Stick to the left lane unless overtaking, no tailgating etc etc.

Hey all,

My good mate's mum has just been diagnosed with serious breast cancer. We have decided to hold this cruise to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) do as to help them find a cure for my mates mum, and everyone else who may get the disease in the future. Please come down, donate what you can, and have fun.

Date: 22nd of May
Meet point: City West
Arrival time: 8:30pm
Departure: 9:30pm
Price per map: $5

As mentioned, all money raised will be donated to the NBCF and a reciept will be posted up on the forums.

If its still raining tonight and you dont wish to cruise in the rain (understandable) please come down to the meetpoint and make a donation anyway.

If you do decide to cruise take it easy on wet roads, we dont need any more incidents on cruises.

Exactly! No one want's a re-shaped rear end, so leave a good distance between you an the car in front. And give generously for a good cause!!!

my god that cruise was fucking terrible.

run by a bunch of red p plater muppets,
maps had obviously not been ran b4 they printed, so many mistakes.
nothing but straight freeway , and yeah the first 2 stops were within 2minutes of each other..

good for the NBCF though.

Wow was it that bad...sorry guys.
I had nothing to do with the organisation of the cruise, was just simply passing it on.

CheshireSmile
23-05-2009, 08:47 AM
Yeah, it was pretty bad. Everyone either huddled in their own antisocial little bubbles, or walked around being a complete moron. The obligatory dickheads were out because it was wet. Those of us who wanted to be sensible were better off toward the back. The map sucked. The meet spots were too close together and we were led to North Mole, which ended up being closed. There were several obvious mistakes on the map. Anyone with a partial cruise history should have known most, if not all of those spots and not gotten it so wrong. Hell, I do and I've only been on 4 or 5 big cruises and I knew them all, and how to get there.

Best part of that night was the bubble tea at the start, and the sea food truck with no traction leaving leach

did any of that money get to the foundation?? we saw a few guys walking around handing out maps but they didnt look as if they wer guna give the money in... our map was just given to us and we wanted to donate but to be honest didnt really trust some of the peeps handing out the maps :S

Supra_boi
23-05-2009, 02:48 PM
map was pretty gay. most shortest legs between stops in my life. goin to the local deli is further than the stops on last nites cruise

thats why i didnt pay for the map. thort it was just strange for come guy to just give me one anyway. probably better off to send the 5 bucks to the foundation itself
