anthony sanders...played roughly 5-6 years ago, before i started working away. name should still be on the superleague best goalie trophy if its still the same one haha... started playing for the hawks then became friends with more wildcats so swapped over. if your playing senior a this year hastle a guy playing for the avs, jardine is his last name. short tubby guy. skates like he has something sticking up his arse haha..

just started training up at malaga today. been out of the game for about 9 years. Been playing roller hockey for Perth Velocity for a few months in prep for ice hockey again! loving it!

but the wings have always had good close matchs with the ducks! just because they are 8th seed doesn't mean a thing! they took out 7th seed in 4 straight games! now thats just evidence ranking is just how well you do in the season!

malaga is good but , they said it is a world class hockey facility .My friend greg playing super legue last week or 2 weeks ago put someone through the glass so i dont know how that works lol , other then that its a good arena to play in but the ice does get a bit like a slushy sometimes.

they have fixed the ice cooling problem this week, previosuly it was like a pool after an hour or so, but all good now, similar to cockburn.
and yeh superleague was on today down there, lol another broken window from a puck too

if your talking abouit flyers in the wa legue then yes there is alot of bullshit ,theres a new team team from cockburn called the skyhawks and they have a player who is 19 and is VERY good and the guy that owns the malaga rink kicked him out of the game ( flyers vs skyhawks) for beeing to good? then the team got roudy so the whole game got shut down , it was fucken bullshit how can you kick someone out for beeing to good i think its a personal thing.

we were getting guy from the denmark and finnish pro leagues to play for us in superleague and senior a
from then on they have clampped down on good players
senior A is pretty much for everyone else
considering the skill varience in that league its only fair to make the outstanding players play in superleague

Yeah Malkin and Crosby are destroying the 'Canes, I was lucky enough to see them play in NY last season - their skill level is insane.

Fingers crossed they can get over the Red Wings (or Blackhawks perhaps) in the final series. (Yep, jumping the gun a little).

I played for the Hawks (in one team or another) from about 1997 to 2004. Good times where the Hawks did a bit of dominating (of course there was a period of major suckage).

I stopped playing after injuring my back, but good to see it is still going strong.

Which year was that? All I remember is whilst playing for Redhawks going 6 or so games into a season without having a goal scored against me ;)

But yeah good times back then. "power" was regularly shifting between teams. Redhawks took 2 seasons to become very competative....not sure what its like now.

Coached some of the younger goalies for a year till work commitments got in the way.

hmmmm... the year the seahawks came into the league. i dont know if you were still playing then. you had the old brodeur gear yeah? when i played for the hawks i had the old Roy style helmet with the blue white black itech pads.
wish i was able to play again this year but dislocated my knee and needed a reconstruction. have some brand spankers rbk pads, gloves waiting to get some use haha...

Well the Red Wings are through after beating Chicago today and have a rematch with the Penguins in the Stanley Cup Final!

Can't wait to watch this series (Game 1 on Sunday morning, Foxtel) and really hope the Pens can reverse last years result! Crosby and Malkin deserve the Cup!

I thought what he did was good, 18sec left in game 2 - why not fire your team up a little. He played well in both games I thought, Crosby has been a bit quiet. The Wings are just so effecient and work hard, add in a couple of lucky bounces and they're up 2-0.

This has been a great series, real good game yesterday - Osgood kept the Wings close so there were a few nervous moments at the end. Rob Scuderi made some huge stops in the crease in the final 30secs!

Hopefully the away team can win for the first time in this series on Sat...

yeap ive cancelled my life for saturday. purchased gamecenter through nhl.com just incase something happens to foxtell and will be watching games 3/4 before game 7.
Scuderi came up BIG in that scramble. Those are the kind of things that win the cup, you need EVERYTHING to go your way and in that game the Pens got the bounces. Fleury on Draper was MASSIVE!! I know from experience there is nothing scarier with a game on the line than seeing someone come in on a breakaway.
