Not the best cruise for me. Had some boyracer in a grey S15 (If you're reading this, you're a knob-end) trying to be a hero and blocking me in behind a 4WD... You now owe me a new set of brake pads.

Lost my clutch again on shitfords, thus lost the cruise.. caught up on reid, got tailgated by a barina, then a falcoon (Blue EA?). Tried to get an early start from Bassendeen, somehow ended up 2nd last out of the carpark (pingpingpingpings need to let pingpingpingpings in) and by the time I got to perth I decided fuckit and went home.

Too many people. Too many morons.

I don't want to see any more barinas or daihatsus on cruises.

yep, was not the best cruise i been on. Way to many dickheads!!!
Highlights: Being behind brockas wen he called tj a dirty serb, and dropping it back next to a skyline, only then to realise tj was the passenger in the 33, and laughed at me as they went passed :) gold.

Downlights: i got a block in my fuel line on the way to the city stop, decided to clutch it and give it a bit of noise to try and clear with a bit of vacuum. *Accidently* Revved out to 7,500rpm :mad:, black smoke out exhaust, slight pinging. Took it easy rest of the nite. Possible ring damage. :mad:

map needed more detail, e.g turn right at lights at freeway 'when exiting citywest'. no one knew where the fuck to go.

Great cruise guys, really enjoyed it, apart from our bingle on Shitfords Ave.

Coming up to the end of Shitfords Ave to turn onto Wanneroo Rd to go to Bassendeen, and all the traffic stops suddenly, so I hit the ancors and stopped just in time behind a white commodore ute, looked in my rear vision mirror and I see this bluish VL Commodore come flying up behind me, nose dips, go racing off to the other lane, doesnt make it in time and smashes into our car. Now the Red Lancer has some lovely speed stripes and a speed-crack in the tail-light (15+ ricerwatts).

What worse is the twat refuses to admit he was at fault (wasnt watching where he was going and wayyyyyy over the speed limit), and refuses to pay for damages - instead insisting that his "brother" can do it in their back garden.

Sure, it's a Lancer (I heard you thinking...), but still... when you smash into someones car reguardless of what it is and you are at fault, you admit it and you have the dignity to say you will get it fixed professionally.

Oh yeah, the bastard had no licence too.

after reassessing the cruise, i twas good. thankfully there was no damage to the rolla, it was just overfuelling at that rpm *as u'd expect*. sorry to hear about the accidents, hope u guys get ur cars fixed in time for the next organised cruise. and yea i didnt get lost at the freeway entrance its just that i was one of the first ppl to leave and everyone was crowding the exit, either no one had a map or ppl just got confused. :dizzy:

mistikal - never, ever make the mistake of thinking the insurance company is your friend, or will do anything at all to help you, or anyone else other than themselves. if he's at fault, esepcially driving without a licence, then i would be staying as far away from the insurance co. as possible, as you dont need (or want) to involve them - if he's driving without a licence, the first people who need/want to know (if it comes to that) are the friendly occifers at your local cop shop....just be sure the other guy knows this, and u shouldnt have any trouble getting a professional repair - he's not in any position to do anything other than whatever you want, basically.

The car itself has nothing deemed illegal on it (undercar neons maybe - they weren't on) that would inhibit his ability to see that I had stopped :) Having family in the right places does help (side note: none of my family or friends work for the Ecilop or the Insuro's), and your completely right, if he doesn't abide by what I want, he will get done over.

All I want is a cash payout - if he can't afford it, then that's his problem, pay me off... but I don't want him to get off scot-free.

I'd just like to say that this guy is lucky you're giving him this option as a lot of people would have already reported him without giving the chance to settle to freindly way. You're a good sport for doing this as it was an accident after all (weather he should of been driving or not i'm sure the last thing he wanted was to hit you). hopefully the other driver will quickly realise this and you'll be able to settle it without any further action.
