My mate's rims were knocked off on his S2000 last night from the basement of his unit in East Perth. Car was left on bricks...

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e83/MattyP81/Random/rims.jpg

They're genuine Buddy Club QF rims
17x8 and 17x9
+43 offset(f) and +60 offset(r)
5x114.3
Gunmetal grey colour

PM me if you see anyone trying to offload them, or on any other cars (with details of car) as they're pretty rare as personally yet to see exact rims on any other car in Perth.

Cheers.

Yeah no lock nuts, but I don't think it would have mattered too much as the people that took the rims knew what they were doing. They wiped the car down after taking the rims as the Police couldn't find any prints and mate could see where they had wiped down the car.

being down in a carpark would have made it easy to not get noticed...

was it gated? the carpark? someone in the building must have seen soemthing. Leave a notice on front door?

Will keep eyes open...

RIMS FOUND!!

By pure chance, a friend visited a certain Morley wheel shop on Friday and found these rims for sale @ $595 and almost bought them. Then he told another mate who told them they could belong to someone he knows. On Saturday night, my mate was notified about this and so this morning first thing he went there and saw the rims. Police came and took the rims and handed them back to my mate..

"This place runs stuff off the books, no records. If you ever miss any rims, this will be the place to look.
Our apartment has been hit quite a few times now - with personal items being stolen from my work vehicle twice and this last time my rims.
It just seems a little dodgy that the place keeps no records of transactions/sales/purchases of second hand goods"

Pass this note around, just as a notification for people who are in the same situation as I was 16 days ago.

Not the first time MM has been involved in similar 'allegations'. Glad they were returned to their rightful owner.

what no locknuts on

You can buy sockets that remove most type of lock nuts so makes no difference , Have a kit at work and they work great

off topic but does that mean the lock nuts that the socket goes over aren't as safe as the one that the key inserts into?
