Couldn't agree more with Garuda comment.. Ozjet have some pretty cheap deals at the moment, but their aircraft are even older then Garuda's... I dare say they are maintained ALOT better though.

We stayed at Nusa Dua beach resort which is a bit more exxy and a way out of Kuta, but we still had the best time ever. Didn't really want to do the Kuta night life shit, hence we stayed right away.

We flew garuda and played nintendo on the screens all the way there lol.

Also make sure if you can try, do some touristy shit out up in the hills.. We did a mountain bike cruise which was pretty much all downhill, went through the rice paddies and through little villages.. was bout 2.5 hours, but was well worth it.

not sure about go-karting, but definitely hit up WaterBom, it kicked ass.

And just out of Legian is a bungee tower.

Shopping wasn't too bad along Poppies 1 and 2. And theres also huge genuine Surf shops that are cheap as shit too.

you can get Steering wheels down to 170,000/200,000rph and gear knobs for 20,000rph.

I stayed at garden view, was good. I've found that the more stars = more shit in room size.

Stayed in a 2 star villa, and was way more awesome than a five star pigeon hole i stay in times before.

Went quad biking in the hills and jet ski'ing. was fucken awesome!

meh we flew garuda for our footy trip last year and it was fine, we drank the plane dry on the way up as well to set up the night haha, just try and fly direct to bali n not via jakarta.

make sure u spend an afternoon at a local cockfighting ring, that was the highlight of my trip, fucking hilarious. u can by ur own chicken and all at the ring, or buy one at the markets and bring it down yaself. any of the dodgy pricks hanging outside the hotels should be able to tee this up for ya.

we stayed at the barong on poppies 2, killer location for the night life, between the clubs and the beach. wasnt the flashest place, we didnt care as long as it had aircon as ya really only sleep there.

and man where were the car accessory shops?? i didnt shop much, got the shit i wanted and that was it lol

Wen you jump in a taxi from the airport, ask how to speak basic indo. i spent about 3 days always asking locals how to say shit in indo, by the end and now every time i go, the locals think I live there as i can speak key indo words. helps big time in getting prices and i NEVER get hassled by hagglers as as soon as you say "no thank you" in indo they leave you alone. Because they think you live there since 'Self centred tourists cant speak indo'

Bounty hotel is the place to stay if u just wanna party the whole time and its one street down from the mushroom bars and all the clubs. Every friday night they have a funtion called "Big Party" 50k gets u unlimited food and drink and they have tequila shot drinking and sculling contests. The rooms with a balcony overlooking the main pool are best.

we did ours through some shop, and they gave us little books with shit in it, and then when we got picked up the guy in the cab ( we had transfers ) gave us sayings to use too.

ive been to bali twice, the first time i went me and the boys stayed at bounty hotel.i personally didnt like it as i couldnt get to sleep because of the music blaring 24/7..good place to party n meet chicks though!!

2nd time we stayed at bali rani...awesome value for money and the staff there look after you really well.bartender make some killer mixes too..

Stayed at the Hard Rock the last time I was there, Bounty before that, and Kuta Paradiso when we go again in Jan.

Going with a group of pissy mates, go the bounty and party like your gonna die tommorow.

Hard Rock is awesome but a bit exy if your after a budget holiday.

Stayed at Bounty in Feb this year, was decent but they're pretty sooky about really letting loose and having a good time. I stayed at the Cham Plung Mas the time before this and we were allowed BB guns back in the rooms, fireworks etc.. Had a lot more fun there goin nuts.

You can't go wrong in regards to the chicks over there... Just be sure to tell everyone to TARP UP HARD. Can't trust any of the women over there no matter where they are from.

I found some Euro-spec to be a bit stand-offish and others to be so trashy that the local bar-attendants and waitresses (and some massage-parlour chicks) are a better option. The better looking local chicks take a little bit more effort to pick up but it's well worth it! I wasn't really a fan of Asian flange before I went there but some :cocksuck: changed my tune

Edit - if it's your first trip there - make sure its a real woman your trying to tune and not a ladyboy.

Stayed at Bounty and going again in June at the bounty. Flying Virgin Blue All up 9 nights transfers accomodation etc etc was $1020. If your there to party then thats the hotel to be. Bali night life is fairly good depending on when you go. Between July to October is busy season. When youre there hit up Galaxy bar for "Out of this world" Shakes :)

Stayed at the Bali Villas Seminyak in March. For about $250 a night you get your own private 1 bedroom villa, own private pool, breakfast cooked for you daily at your villa etc... It's stunning to stay at, about 5 mins drive from Ku De Ta, and about 10min on the scooter to Kuta..

You can also buy it on the streets, comes in yellow boxes most of the time.. I had some photos of the canister/test tube things that house the 20 pills in them and the box but deleted them off the camera as the second we got back into Aus gf's family wanted to peep the photos on the camera...

I paid as little as about 5-10,000idr for a box.. So about a dollar-dollar fiddy for 20 of these things. Seen a couple people smash a whole canister in a night, they're pretty decent.. No comedowns and can still eat next day too!

Anyhow........ back to hotels ;)
