Been on here for while now, figured its time to make a thread.

Thread has details from when I bought it, and how its changed until now.

Bought this last october in 07.
was pretty stock and standard at the time..
Colour was Dark Blue
Left exterior/looks pretty much exactly as it was.
Just done abit of work on performance

It looked abit like this

http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq16/einterest/Original/DSC00266.jpg

I had always liked the S15 front ends and hated pop up head lights, so I figured it would be good to do front end conversion, so I started collecting parts for the conversion over a 6month period, and in November 2008 I started the conversion.

http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq16/einterest/S1580%20Conversion/IMG_4570.jpg

Also by this time my wheels arrived from Japan.
They were Work Emotion CR KAIs in 17x9 +17 Offset, Gun Metal Grey.
http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq16/einterest/S1580%20Conversion/IMG_4573.jpg

By mid december I had finished the conversion and kit fiting, so it went off the panel beater.

http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq16/einterest/Hoopers%20Smash/09012009.jpg

Had abit of trouble with the panel beater, alot of imperfections, scratches and shit on new paint job :S, told him to redo it.

And this is it, when it was done.
Your jealous of the rims on there I know..

Got it back, Did 5 stud conversion on the rears and smashed on the wheels.

In the past month, I've completed the 5 stud conversion on the front, and smash in Coilovers.
So this is how the car currently looks at the moment.

very nice, love the strawberry face

any reason for the sharp drop off in power?
almost looks like you maxxed something out but you have injectors, ecu, afm etc all up to scratch...

New rims set the car off perfectly.

Only the 2nd strawberry face 180 i've seen over here, the other one was a chick at my old work, and hers was purple.

cheers guys for the comments!

with the graph.

its a disco potato, and they start to run out of puff around 300+. so it was close to it.
and plus i currently dont have cams in.
so it just drops off..
Andrew at hyperdrive said if i got cams it will bring it back up to redline.

interesting, expected a drop off due to that but not that bad...

Agree, that is a massive drop in power 30hp less at 7000rpm (before/after)
surely if it was cams, power would not drop below previous figure, after all your pushing more boost aswell.

the performance gear got put in over the weekend :)

the crack inside =
Garrett 2871 52t 0.64
Greddy Cams: 264 11.5 Intake, 272 11.5 Exhaust
Greddy Valve Springs
Tomei Cam Gears
6 Boost manifold modified by The Rod Dawg
Turbosmart 38mm ultra gate
GKTECH Rocker Arm Stoppers

Had abit of trouble with the rocker arm... it popped off while i was driving, that quickly got sorted out, and again on the way home car shat it self for the second time resulting in this guy
http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq16/einterest/24052009-1.jpg
second time had exact same symptoms as when the rocker arm popped off(Bang.. sluggish not running on all cylinders... it wouldnt start), thought the rocker arm shat it self again.. so it got towed..

morning comes waited for towie to to tow to hyperdrive to sus it out and she starts!, so that was weird.. no one knows the cause or what happened.

anyway, after that she ran fine, drove it to hyperdrive for a tune.

Andy managed to get a very impressive figure of 359rwhp on 22 psi :)
and the 3 runs were, 355, 352, 359.

this 2871 is the 0.64 rear housing 100% confirmed.
and supposed to be the 52 trim.
unsure of why the boost comes on abit late..

its also got a big and loud dirty exhaust leak, apparently coming from number 2 manifold to block.

cam gears are still set at 0 degrees, so next time it goes into hyperdrive, they can fiddle with that and tweak it to get the most out of the cams:)

big thanks to yes mate racing + Hyperdrive (http://hyperdrivems.com.au)

cheers for the comments :)

new update:

car came back from hyperdrive with some decent results today.

first run of the day was 345rwhp at 22psi,

after mucking around with the cam gears we managed to get this.

run 57 in red/brown was 4degrees advanced on intake cam. 0 degrees exhaust cam.
run 69 in green was 6 degrees advanced on intake cam, 0 degrees exhaust cam.

tried fiddling with the exhaust cam, but no matter advance or retard it just made it shitter in both ways.. boost came on later, less power, power dropped off alot at the end.
so in the end exhaust cam was left untouched! (probably something to do with the larger exhaust cam)

http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq16/einterest/scan0005.jpg
http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq16/einterest/scan0006.jpg

now comes in at 4500 instead of the ridiculous 4900 b4... (also due to fixing the massive exhaust manifold gasket leak).

should be the last update for a while now :)

mini update

bought some d project adjustable suspension arms like 6 years ago, never got around to putting them (couldnt be fucked).
but today i got around to it.

products;
rear camber arms, castor rods, toe rods.

and while i was at it, decided to lower the car abit more.

http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq16/einterest/5731_148770318992_644618992_3248070.jpg

just needs a wheel alignment now :D

bit of an update, its been a while.

some things happened between the last update and about 5months

*took it to drift practice a few times last year, ran fine apart from snapping the pivot ball in the gearbox, which was replaced, and whilst the gearbox was out I took the opporunity/excuse to put in a new clutch, so an Exedy 5 Puk button clutch was put in :)

*car got yellow stickered but it got over no problems, was pretty much put back to stock minus the s15 conversion (Ie turbo, suspension, etc)

took me about another 5months of slowly reinstalling the parts as i was quite over fiddling with cars after the pits.

during this time, i replaced rocker cover o ring gaskets, as oil was finding itself in the coilpacks

also changed the spark plug rocker cover o rings seeing as bulk oil was pissing into the coilpacks, all sorted now.
http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq16/einterest/19122009.jpg

also got the 205/40/17 tyres stretched on
http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq16/einterest/11012010.jpg
http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq16/einterest/11012010001.jpg

and fitted a new straight through dart izumi exhaust :)

pics to come shortly
