Suggestions for Great WA locations for Car Pics

Hey Guys,

Any great locations for car pics that you can recommend.

I.e. areas that are great backdrops to take photo's of your machine.

what kind of locations are you after? scenic?, graf in the background?, urban?

happy with any suggestions really. no particular preference.

different backdrops sometimes bring up great results on the day.

some of the pics on antilag are fantastic, and always looking for new locations to get a great shot.

South Perth foreshore, get some great shots at night with the river and city in the background.

find an industrial area. preferably one that has a bland background colour eg:brown shed, that will focus and bring out the colours of the car.

Best thing you can do is drive around and find places yourself. If it's been done, why do it again? South Perth is great, but every prick with a mobile phone cam or better has been there and done it.

And yes, no grass.

third last one is near Coggee power station there, last two are at undercover carpark at Garden city which is prety good, Memorial up at Freo on the hill there is good too when you have a nice sky.

South Perth foreshore, get some great shots at night with the river and city in the background.

is on;y good if theres water in the car park for reflection and a large ap is used to get DOF so the city isnt the focal point. Some many pics have been destroyed because the buildings are more interesting than the car.

Have a shoot planned mid year down south on an old one lane timber bridge. The bridge is on private property so hasn't been replaced yet. The environment will suit the car. That is the secret.

Do what Will does now, think outside the box. These pics are good and suit the location

find a nice cul de sac that is empty, no skid marks or anything, take a before photo, do some circle work, park car back right in the middle, take another shot.
