Heading to hamlin bay we counted a total of 6 multi novas , 3 police marked cars and 2 unmarked and 1 booze bus.

All multinovers were hidden so blatent.

I did so well on the way down there but on the way back i was doing 85 in a 80 zone and didnt see it drop down to 60 and yep, a multi nover hidden in the bushes.

6 points and $300 thanks for coming. Oh well i should of been paying more attention

coming down to bunno last night. seen a few cop cars and bikes. and 3 camera's

first one spotted a mile away, second was overtaking a car and was blind sighted so only saw the "you passed a camera sign" and then the last saw the camera but no sign.

and then yesterday arvo they were setting one up down the road from my place.

so far so good, driving back tomorrow so i'll see how i go

Coppers still trying to sticker people. Pulled over my missus on saturday morning cause of 1 flaulty brake light, "that ended up working" Was a wanker, looked over the car and let her go.

Those two fine officers would be getting a nice pat of the back from their superiors for chalking up so many fines.

Yet late last year the cops swore they were going to can targetting high revenue areas and actually start setting up cameras/radars in high risk areas. Its not a law, it the australian standard for setting speed cameras up, which have to be followed by the operator or it invalidates the fine (its been tested in court a few times).
Cameras on bends in roads and near metal objects like gates is another example of this.

Talk about double standards, i just got back from Metro Rd this avo. As i was comin down Brookton Hwy a marked cop car comes up close behind me. Was ready to be pulled over. Was a solid white line, next minute cop puts on indicators and pulls out to overtake me. He was followed very closely by 6 Gypsy Jokers.
Over the course of the next 5km i was overtaken within my lane by another 10 or so bikes. The bikies were also bein followed by an unmarked car. Once all the bikes had passed me the unmarked car then over took me on double white lines.

PS. The cop car had a pic of a DRAGON on the back :P

afaik they also cant set up a camera at the bottom or top of a hill, unless they have direct instruction to do so via the head cop... (minister maybe i think)... read it somewhere to do with the police rules.

what i hate, and always happens worse during DD's, is cameras in spots that have never seen an accident... i'm talking Roe Hwy in spots, but especially Graham Farmer... cmon, how many accidents happen at 80kph on a 3 lane hwy! make it 100 and have done with it!

afaik they also cant set up a camera at the bottom or top of a hill, unless they have direct instruction to do so via the head cop... (minister maybe i think)... read it somewhere to do with the police rules.

Placing a camera at the top of a hill is within the deployment criteria but placing one at the bottom of a steep hill (yes, it all depends on how steep it is) is not.

For a camera to be placed in a location not approved within the deployment criteria the OIC of the Camera Section must seek approval from the Assistant Commissioner of Traffic and Operations Support.

Yes, but they too have there own standards to follow, which have similar limitations to multinovas... the problem is getting copies of the standards, they aren't cheap :(
just ask any one that is at uni, easy access to 99% of AS/NZ standards including the ones your after

Looks like a vn/vp ss got busted for hoon laws outside motorplex when I was leaving friday night after burntout comp. Un marked cop car and the ss on the back of the tilt tray. Angry bloke standing nearby.

Coppers still trying to sticker people. Pulled over my missus on saturday morning cause of 1 flaulty brake light, "that ended up working" Was a wanker, looked over the car and let her go.

When I left, the traffic heading to the freeway was at a standstill so head up rocko road then jumped on the freeway. Saw 2 cop cars heading down rocko road and turn left to the plex

Perfect time to bust some neanderthals with more ego than brains

what i hate, and always happens worse during DD's, is cameras in spots that have never seen an accident... i'm talking Roe Hwy in spots, but especially Graham Farmer... cmon, how many accidents happen at 80kph on a 3 lane hwy! make it 100 and have done with it!

GFF speed limit is fucking stupid - 80 on a wide, 3-lane (4 in places) freeway, yet Reid Hwy is a busy, single-lane road between Tonkin and West Swan where there have been deaths yet limit there is 90...

Wanneroo Rd and Morley dve also very busy dual-lane roads through busy residential areas and the limit for much of them is 70... yet Alexander Dve is exactly the same type of road yet the speed limit is 60!

Shit makes no fuckin sense

I got done on the way back from Busso 120ish overtaking 2 pingpingpingpings in 4wd's with caravans going 80 the whole way but then fucking speeding up to 100 every time there was an overtaking lane! Fucking pingpingpingpings!

Very disappointed with the misleading title....

Got a fine today $150 and 2 points on Rockingham Road 100 in a 80 zone no one to blame but my self I just wasn't paying attention I was looking at my speedo and I though wow I'm going pretty fast but it didn't click to slow down. Completely out of it hahaha. But the cops where really cool.
