What started as a "subtle topic change" yahoo japan link from the rgvfast while i was in madrid turned out to be an importational near nightmare. He send the link "this should make 600rwhp" So i bought it. It was sitting in sapporo (top top of japan) and after visiting there swore that would never buy a car from that snowfield. WRONG

Came in a container with a stack of chicken rotassaries and a 350chev... hanging on the roof. me and vicki saw it in japan and it was immaculate.

DONT HANG YOUR CAR ON A ROOF UNLESS YOUR PREPARED TO RESPRAY IT WHEN IT GETS HERE.

After a lengthy import approval process... For a b -reg car you need to get a l3 cams license. This involves a $400 fee, medical exam, written exam, lecture and a trip in a hire car around the wanneroo with John Hurney, WA'S cams main man. Then you get the l3 and you can apply for a b-reg import approval. 3-4 months realistic turnaround, but can be done quicker once you do the groundwork

Ran a 10.2 in japan uphill on mickey thompson 285s on ~2 bar and no doubt race fuel. with standard brakes. which are like cheesecutters

It was going to be a daily participant on the peak hour freeway superstage, but alas it is not to be.

t88 with breathing mods like you have should gain 15-20 hp per 1 psi increase.

17psi- 23 psi = 120 ish hp increase
480+120 = 600hp BOOya

yet i dont cry about it like others.. by far it has the most value in terms of the car itself and the damage.. amazing isnt it.

a bit of background, the container it came in had a stack of parts, some of them didnt stack up for their new owners. a shitfest on perthrotary ensued which involved mass abuse.

the whole situation was an ordeal. but its done now.

Love this car, if I was staying in perth I'd buy it and bang it all in the cressie.
The rear housing on the turbo is massive,rotor spec, but suprisingly it comes on boost fairly early considering, paints lines like a proffesional line painting machine.

just a small update since i require personal attention me me me

supra went to queensland where it was transplanted into an australian shell.

the final tune today made 556.9 rwhp in dyno dynamics shootout mode with fat 10.7 afrs and 13degrees timing on 98 ron cane toad juice @ 19.2 psi boost. safe as perths housing market

the block doesnt have no engine number on it which indicates during the build that the gte block was purchased new from toyota.

It disheartens me that nobody in perth had the cash or balls to buy this as they would have one hell of a car considering it sold for 10k. Also disheartens that it was so much for so little. a great sleeper!
