Since I've owned the skyline I've averaged being pulled over for a 'random' breath test once every 2 days.. I mean, it's no trouble because I never drink drive, but it's just getting a bit beyond the joke.


anyone else have this problem? or am i just unlucky..

And I honestly dont think it'd be a black mark next to this particular car as it was off the road for about a year and a half before i bought it..

I drive a commodore ute with flames on it and 18s... havent been pulled over for a RBT since i got it. only thing i ever got picked on was for dropping 3 skids on one street and losing the feul pump!! haha STUCK!

True, but what I'm saying is that its not a bad thing that he only gets RBT'd.

I've been RBT'd coming home from work just after midnight acouple of times, and been glad that this meant that they didn't need to start looking at things possibly wrong with my car just to fill there quota... obvious shitter cars will probably get the once over regardless.

I've never been pulled over for just an RBT & license check. They have always checked the car.

1 let me go no dramas, 1 let me go because he had to cos (where I was pulled over they were holding up traffic), 1 gave me a yellow sticker but then again I don't think an RBT & license check was the objective there because he'd already asked for the bonnet to be opened before either of those 2.

All other RBT's (maybe 3/4) have been at booze bus setups, I don't drink & drive so it hasn't been a drama & I've only had one vehicle check out of them, that was the same night at Hillaries when it was locked down.

i got done for talking on the phone and an unregoed car this week (thought it was end of the month turns out it wasnt) cop didnt even look at my car. i was very lucky
been puled over twice b4 just for random license check etc and have never looked at my car. advantages of an old car i guess
