Why would you bother not going in the first round? Usually get 2 or 3 qualifiers, depending on numbers. So at worst, you'll get 3-4 runs if you get knocked out first round.

It costs you the same to compete or not, so you may as well. At the very least you'll get one extra run. Usually you'll get 3 or more qualifying runs + 1 competitive runs, more if you win your heat. It really depends how many entrants they get on the day. One time I managed 14 runs!

Was a really good day !

New PB and the car had no issues(cept a loose tranny blanket oops). Also got runner up by default in compact extreme. Nice little trophy too.

Good turnout for a hitech event, we got there early and there was a decent line to get in.

I foolishly didn't drink enough and wasn't used to the suit, got a bit heat stroked by end of it.

Was a really good day !

New PB and the car had no issues(cept a loose tranny blanket oops). Also got runner up by default in compact extreme. Nice little trophy too.

Good turnout for a hitech event, we got there early and there was a decent line to get in.

I foolishly didn't drink enough and wasn't used to the suit, got a bit heat stroked by end of it.

Rossister ran a new PB 11.4 Well Done !

We run the old 200b and was running pretty consistent 10.7 and got thru to the semi final in the extreme compact class but unfortunately Beau thought he had switched the line locker off coming out of the burnout but hadnt. When he tried to move the car into stage it was like locked up and didnt want to move in gear so we had to shut it down. It wasnt until we pushed the car back to the pits that we realised the line locker was still switched on. Other than that we had a great day. The torque converter didnt arrive in time for the gtr which was a major piss off as we really wanted to get a couple of passes out of it just to see where she is at and what we need to do for next season.
I thought I heard that mark rossiters dad chris also won his class.

the people that run the drags have been wankers lately. not sure whos trying to lay down the law.

last WAW when numbers were getting down, it got to the stage of doing a lap then immediately joing the line to go back out on the track. just when u rock up with no helmet on as u just took it off from last run and u realised u had massive wheelspin off the line so u want to lower the pressure a tad, the people at the front of the staging lanes are like hurry up get your helmet back on and get out.

when u try tell them u only just did a run 1 min ago and want to change your tire pressure - they say too bad either go out now or pack up.

this is at 9 pm which is pretty bad imo your paying $40 to race between 6 and 10.

u end up just leaving as they dont give u time for fuck all so theirs no point doing 4 back to back passes in under 4 min when the cars not set up properly

i think the best he run yesterday was 9.30 @ 147...

its not running the t04z any more, its running a turbonetics gtk turbo now... fair bit larger than the t04z... i would say its a gtk1000..

hes also using the twin plenum intake that he was running with the supercharger setup

yea had mix results tday, after the first 4 runs were only 14.0s and 13.9,s@100 and 99mph I was thinkin something was up, a mate told me it seems loud as it went by at half track ( I had parked it up and was a bit bewildered by wtf was going on as it had been tuned on sat morning to 246rwkw and felt good on the sat night and way down there ) a check of the cooler hoses I found a clamp loose but the joint coulnt blow off as it was hard on the chassis rail
by the time I had found and sorted that I only got 2 grudge runs in a 13.37@106.5mph and a 13.666@105mph (forgot to turn traction control of and it just pulsed on the start of the run )
so I was happy with that will wait for a nice cool night after I get the gas tuned
go paully and the back yard vl t that surprised the grass dwelling kmart deck chair knockers that were full of jokes when we were pushn it of the startline 1/2 an hour before
