View Full Version : Blitz Dual Sol. Type R. Problems, Help Anyone?

Hey guys, i just bought the Blitz Dual Solinoid Type R boost controller and installed it last night, i have a jzx90 with siquential twin turbos, i have run the solinoid off both actuators on the turbos and wired it all up, but it doesnt seem to want to boost past the normal 6 psi of boost? why!! can anyone help me trouble shoot or have any suggestions? its not a new system, got it from melb off a guy on a forum but it looks in very good nick....

Well, for a start your turbos aren't sequential, they run parallel.
This is how you should have it plumbed up:
Actuator--------T---------Actuator
.......................|.......................
.......................|.......................
..............Boost Controller............
With the other end of the boost controller connected to the inlet manifold.

Ok i think thats basically what my mates done, but im not sure if the other end (is that in or out on the boost controller) is going..... I shall go take a looksee at lunch, cheers brockas

Inlet manifold -> "IN" -> Boost controller -> "OUT" -> Actuators.

haha dont worry when i get it working, skids will be happening.... well not straight after, first stockies go on, then skids...... muhaha....

GAARRRRRRRHHHHHH NOT WORKING PROPERLY!!! HELP ME!!! ok so brockas i tryed the way u did, but it didnt work, i tried putting both actuators off a line and to a T then to the OUT port on the sol, then the other line off the actual turbo t'd to the IN port on the sol, and thats not working, took all lines off and even then it doesnt boost past stock 6psi!! WTF is going on!! HELP PLEASE!!

What do u mean a blocked cat? as in exhaust cat or....... sorry just dunno what u mean. And yea ive set it up exactly like the pic u put up aye

exhaust too restrictive
Try a simple bleedvalve. See if boosts higher

Ill need to bleed valves then wont i? if its twin turbo and also, i do have an exhaust leak? would that be the prob maybe?

leak would increase flow
one bleed valve will work

ok so how do i set it up then with the bleed valve? which vac lines do i use for it?

had a leak in the intercooler piping, got that custom made and a new bov, and IT WORKS!!! BOOSTING TO 11 PSI STRONG HAHAHA cheers everyone for ur help
