Let's try and get numbers back up!

Ask anyone who has been to one of these events, awesome fun and definitely worth every cent!

Clutch and brake drama's but hope to have it all resolved by then. Should have some harnesses all bolted in to keep me out of the passenger seat round the hairpin. Fingers crossed for some decent times.

Jai, the reason you probably only ever get minimal entries before an event is due to the process by which you take entries.

To book your place for the event fill out the form and email it to "bookings@nolimitevents.com"
You can't fill out the form and e-mail it, because it's a PDF and can't be changed.

I have my form here filled out, but there is no fax number to be found anymore??

There's nowhere on the site where you can fill out and submit and entry.

The only option is to post the form.... which you have to bring to the event anyway.

It would make life a lot easier for people if there was either:
1. A fax number
2. A word document form, which could be filled out and emailed.
3. A form submission on the site for entries.

Just a few suggestions....

I can only do my forms at work,
I print the PDF, fill out and scan.

I think an online form would help with numbers.
Just have everyone sign something on the night.
I'm sure there are people who would be willing to help out with this.

if your worried about people altering the form due to being a word document, you can also create PDF forms that have editable fields that people can change (eg just the entrant parts)

Ill write a better response when i have a key board and not my iphone... But basically entry forms including layout etc are approved by cams ad have to be specific hence the current non use of electronic forms from the webpage. But trust me i am working on this. Word files also cannot be used on the no limits website for security reasons....

Brockas

Jai, any update on this?

I have my entry form here ready to go. I'm 100% definitely in, but still can't fax it to you?

PDFs can be made into electronic forms that can be filled out (and then emailed).
Just need a copy of Acrobat Professional or a similar program (read:cheaper) to create.

26 pre-entries is excellent, especially with questionable weather.

Good to see things are picking up again.

I'd be out there this week, but the clutch still has issues that are being sorted... if it gets sorted in time, I'll definitely come up.

Good night, had some fun.

Managed a 58.00 on the Nexens.... my god it's slippery out there on them.

25-09-2009, 06:40 AM
Was the track slower than usual last night?

Brockas
25-09-2009, 09:15 AM
Hard for me to tell. It felt like I was racing on ice, but thats the first time I've done it on street tyres in probably 2 years.

jonn
25-09-2009, 09:19 AM
It was slippery as fuck early on but I managed a pb around 8.30pm. I can imagine what it was like on street tyres though.
Anyone know what the cops were doing there? They seemed to go straight to the guy in the red supra and blue ford, took that as my cue to crawl out of there slowly....

25-09-2009, 09:20 AM
I thought it was a bit skatey at the beginning
only got to terms with the amount of grip towards the end of the night
bedding in new brake pads didn't help either LoL

Probably slower for you due to having so much extra drag with the boot lid up? :)

OH SNAP!

It was a good night.
I didn't think it was a really quick track. Glad to see it wasn't just me (probably because I didn't touch my PB :)).

Did anyone see who was taking photo's?
Pretty sure I saw someone walking around with an slr.

Also results.

New PB's for the nexen shod evo's....did feel skatey when pushing harder but still grippy enough to string a decent lap together.

Pav

Nexens on a gtr seem scary. Too much weight, not enough grip!

How'd they manage to fuck up my car details? I was only Mazda there (that didn't break), but apparently i drive a Z4! I'm not that rich.... or gay.

Raymond uses Tracy's list... which is generated from your entry forms... it unfortunately does mean some misspelled names...
