We've built the car to compete in the local tarmac rallies, such as Dutton Rally, TargaWest, Classic Rally and anything else that comes up. When we aren't working on it, I try to drive it as much as possible as it is still licenced for road use.
Even with the suspension, it is still quite comfortable to drive and I have done a couple of Southwest runs in it as well as a few long local cruises. The drivers seat gets a bit uncomfortable after a while and I have to get out and walk around after every hour or so of driving as it gives me a dead leg...
The clutch is great to drive in traffic and on the track... After fitting a couple of "recommended" clutches and consequently destroying them within 7 days of installing them, I fitted an Exedy Hyper single which has lasted me about 7 months, including a lot of hard launches at the 2008 Dutton Rally, Countless laps at Barbagallo, lots of hard launches at AHG and a few launches at Perth Moneyplex.
Current power is about 360awhp @ 1.6bar (with stock i/c, piping, exhaust & a supercrap air filter to get it running for the dyno)... This was a rushed/temporary tune to get it on the road before Xmas. Since then we have pulled it off the road and finished everything listed above. We are hoping to make about 380-400awhp by the end of next week, with full boost coming on a lot quicker than it was (4100rpm).

Next wave of upgrades on the wish list includes:
2.3ltr Custom Stroker (not Tomei, BC, HKS etc)
Brake Upgrade (6 or 8 Piston Fronts, 4 or 6 piston Rears)
Full CAMS Compliant Rollcage
PPG Gearset
Billet Half-Shafts
SSR 19" (Silver) Road Rims
I am proud to say there has been no "China Spec" products used in the build of the car. The risk of using such poor quality parts in vehicles as highly strung as an Evo is just not worth it.
I'll post some newer pics, including the engine bay & a dyno graph soon.
