Need help with iTunes

fuckin itunes the kunt.
ive made playlists on itunes that sync with my ipod.
majority of my music is on my external hd.
all the music use to work. and now it fuckin doesnt, a '!' appears next to the ones that doesnt.
any ideas on why its started to do this?

have u moved the files to a different location or changed filenames?

you've moved your music or if it's on an external hard drive the letter of the drive has changed. right click on a song click get info on it and check that the path down the bottom (c:/music/mariah carey/ or whatever your taste) is where your music actually is. if it isn't one of two choices, move all your music to that path so itunes can find it or add all your music again and re-make your playlists.

ahhhhhhhhh i see what has happened
it was originally F:
now its G:
how do i change it back?

1. right click on my computer
2. click manage on the right hand side menu click storage and underneath of that should be disk management
3. all your hard drives should be listed here
4. right click on G: drive and select "change drive letter and paths"
5. on the next page it should say G: and down the bottom in should have "add" "change" and "remove" click change
6. on this page click the drop down menu that says G and change it to F, click ok and you're done

the problem wasn't with itunes? some people need to use itunes on a PC if they have an iphone or ipod.
