OK ive done it, ive bought myself a power fc for the filthy 180. It should be here in a couple of weeks. Now the hard part. Are there any tuners that are good with the power fc here in perth? My aims arnt really outright power. I would prefer good driveability and acceptable fuel consumtion

Have any people on the board owned power fc equiped cars ? IF so your experiances would be appreciated.

We can chuckie, we can.

Glenn has the reputation to be able to work with most aftermarket computers and more than one person has been amazed at his ability to get his head around these things.
They are a good puter ( had one in my GTR ) but doing major fuel/timing changes requires a good memory.

my setup will only be fairly mild. I am just hoping things like cold start etc still function as per designed by factory. My only experiances with aftermarket ecus stem from an early microtech on a bp mazda motor. Lets just say i was scared for life

Datalogit is not ready for S13s yet.
Microtech tend to scare people of but Rotos do a good job with them.

I had the same experience with the microtech in my mx6. Apparently they have no closed loop function so that would explain the cold start I think. Also most people who tune Microtechs tend to just stick it on a dyno and get a power figure and don't bother with any cruise tuning, so they run like poo.

spekaing of the Power FC, I love mine short of the slight hunting at idle every so often.

How much does the MAP plugin cost for the PowerFC?

Many PFC do this but it can be sorted.

I don't think there is a MAP sensor plugin as such. Apexi did release the D-Jetro series of PFC's which all ran MAP sensing. These were used primarily for drag racing where only WOT is really worried about.
