Me personally i like cocktails, single malt whiskeys, and coronas.

Fav cocktail is long island iced.

What are yours?

Also anyone ever had the drink Absinth?

ive got the Czech Absynthe here..

u can only get the watered down version in perth @ 60% alcohol 120 proof - from The herdsmen tavern, David Jones and the Wembley - its banned in most countries...

to prepare absinthe...place one TINY shot of asinthe into glass, get a teaspoon of sugar, dip full teaspoon in absynthe to coat it..set this on fire (WARNING: Absynthe Burns invisible blue flames - turn the lights off to see it) then once its bubbled and almost done, stir into absinthe, ad 2parts warm water and mix and serve STRAIGHT away..this is the proper way to take Green Fairy, u MUST drink it warm...

I have been looking at buying a bottle thats 70% alcohol and has 10mg of thujone in it. Thats the max legal limit of thujone allowed in oz.
But at around $100 a bottle, not something u drink all the time lol

I slammed 6 shots of chartruce in a row on my last night in NZ, well not really in a row between each shot i sculled a bourban and coke to get the shitty taste out of my mouth. Absynth has made me throw up on two occasions.

I really like the blue lagoon, I think it goes something like this

Blue Curaco
Vodka
Ice
Drink

Maybe not im probably wrong as its been years since ive done bar work.

hrm, had a tiny bit of homemade (read: dodgy) absynthe at a friends 21st. within half an hour i was sat out on the road singing the barney song (average saturday night, really :P)

fave drink atm: vodka martini, shaken, dry, twist of lemon. they'll f*ck you up good.

uh, i'm not sure. all i know is that it involved wormwood (?!) and a really dodgy looking homemade brewing setup under the guys bed for a couple of weeks. thats all i really wanted to know.

Spirits are the best. Absynthe is definatly a winner served the proper way. My fav night starter is a racial conflict - black and a white Sambucca straight after each other.

Malibu and coke. Man it's just so smooth. CC and Dry. Oh yeah!

Tooheys Extra Dry and Coronas with lemon for beers. You gotta have the lemon or it's just not the same. Now i'm thirsty. Off to the bottlo.

Involves Black Sambuca, Tequila and Chartreuce in a shot glass, by the name, yes it makes you go blind as i found out on my first pub crawl.. But not many pubs know how to make it, even if you tell them some wont, although you get lucky sometimes..

You can also buy Absynthe from Kallaroo bottle-o, we just shotted it as well, think i may have to try the proper way, sounds interesting..

And favourite alcoholic beverages - Cougar XS, CC Dry and Jimmy beam..

They are also called a Trainwreck, i love Jagerbombs they are they best shit in the world, i used to drop about 4 before i went out in the evening and it gets you charged like you cant belive. They are best in winter cause it warms you up, actually straight Jager in winter is tops!!!

Jagerbomb/Trainwreck:

You get an old fashioned glass(the one they serve spirits in)
You then fill it about 1/2 way with redbull
You then get a shot glass and fill it with Jagermeister(Canadian herb based spirit)
You then place the shotglass in the redbull and the redbull should come almost up to the lip of the oldfashioned
You then Skull the redbull and the jager shot should start to empty into your mouth aswell.. do the whole thing then slam the glass on the bar/table

3cm Vodka
3cm Scotch Whisky
Fill the rest with beer

You have to jigg the mixtures a bit depending on the types of beer/whisky/vodka but when you get it right it tastes mint and you get absolutly fucked on maybe 3.

recently got these bottles of "chinese wine" for free, one mate thinks it saki another thinks its thai whiskey... 56%, fukn burns when shooting it, but with a bit of lift or solo its good....

i dont mind barcardi and coke sometimes, and butterscotch shnapps shots
