SR20 injector sizing

hey all. I am after some genuine numbers here. I want to know the power potential of an sr20 using both 440cc injectors and 550cc injectors. I am aiming for around 280-300rwhp but ofcourse i want the power for the least possible coin.

Any help would be appreciated :boink:

GTi-R injectors are 444cc (same as GTR), and S15 are 448cc.

That's as far as i can tell you at the moment.

are s15 injectors a plugin accross the sr range ?

i want to know how much power they will support, i heard a rough guide that 550cc injectors are good for around 70kw per cyl, so on a 4 cyl thats about 280 flywheel kw or 196kw atw???. To me this seems low. Ive heard of standard injectors s15s doing more than this. I need hard data people im about to shell out coin !

550's support low 300 rwhp's I believe......

if you want 550'ies go the rotary injectors, they are direct fit etc, they can suport the power u are chasing and they are cheap.

550cc injectors from a 13b are top feed, sr20 requires sidefeed injectors. ANy1 please feel free to let know know if im wrong

To figure out the hp potential of the injectors, divide the flow rate by 5, then multiply by how many cylinders. This will give the hp potential at 100% duty cycle. Figure on about 80% and bob's your hairless monkey.
