Hella Ralle 4000, spread or pencil beam lookin at about $230ea i think
Even better are the Lightforce Blitz 240's but wont get much change from about $800 for 2.
They are the 2 best brand/models that we fit to all the trucks that come thru work when they have had a front end smash. I got 3 Hella 100's on the front of my lux 2 spread and a pencil and they light up the rd pretty dam good. But have a couple Ralle 4000's sittin at work that i claimed of a smashed truck just need to put some new globes in then they will be goin on the front. Will probably get a HID kit for them tho. 2 4000 HID pencil beams will be like daylight, i feel sorry for the next person to cut me off at night hahaha.

Or if ur feeling really rich i seen some Hella Predator HID spotties on Ebay priced at a very mild $1500ea.

I use 2x Hella 4000's (1x pencil & 1x spread beam) on my Pajero with my H1 5000k HID kits in them. They turn night to day and fit quite easily.

They perform as good as, if not better than the Hella Predator HID's which are basically a 4000 with a set of 4800k HID's installed.

Hella 4000s with an HID kit are, as people have mentioned, the shit. Have 3 on the work ute in a Pencil / Spread / Pencil configuration.
But unless you paying cost like some of us, I wouldn't say cheap!

H1 kits are normally $399... They are currently on special for $249...

There is a big difference between my kits and ebay kits... In build quality, power efficiency, low output levels and light dispersion.

I have them available in 4300k (the best for night-time offroading), 5000k (what I use in mine) and 6000k (work very well and look the best)

Hella 160's are more of a driving light (short distance light output) than a spot light, but they still do a pretty decent job. They use a H3 bulb and require the rear of the housing to be modified to fit a HID bulb in them.

To give you an idea, we them mainly use & recommend them as extra reversing lights in 4wd's :)
