Just got back from the Coldplay concert at the Dome...

ABSOLUTE CRAP!!!

I dont mind their music, but I've never left a concert before its finished... We left after the 5th or 6th song... Just after the last big ass balloon popped.

There was only 3 types of women there:

Too Fat
Too young
Too Old

Nothing in between.

I can't honestly remember a more boring show... I started playing Foo Fighters in my head just to get through the last 2 songs we had to endure...

We were about 5 people back from the stage, but we ended up giving our tickets and arm bands to a couple that was sitting out the front of the Dome listening... Hope they enjoyed it more than we did...

There was cool lasers though...

Went on friday night with 3 others, I thought it was great for the type of genre music they play, they put on a good performance/set mixing older songs with the new.

Agree there were a lot of oldies there that were just there to enjoy with the missus, but that didn't stop us from loosing our voices. Was well worth it, crowd on friday loved it.

Dome is shit for concerts. Bad sound & terrible atmosphere, had it been anywhere else I would have gone for sure.

Agreed - Dome is shit for sound...

It would have been a decent show if the band put some effort in... the lead singer was boring as fuck and kept running around the stage with his arms out pretending to be a aeroplane, then singing a few more lyrics and then pretending to be a helicopter... My niece does the same and I can tell you, it's a hell of a lot more entertaining when she does it...

I not a huge fan of Coldplay, but I would have expected it to be a better show than it was... At least I got the tickets for free...

Best part of the night was finding parking right behind the hotdog van at the door to the Dome... we only had to walk 50 ft to the door :)

Looking forward to the next big name to come out here and wipe my memory clean of this event.
