Wheels World
2009 WA EVO vs WRX Series
Over the last few months EvolutionOz (WA Chapter) and Imprezza WRX Owners Club of WA have been discussing the creation of a motorsport series between the groups and we are proud to present the 2009 Wheels World EVO vs WRX Series. Our aims for the Series are to promote both the WA EVO and WRX communities, establish goodwill between all participants and sponsors and most importantly have a fun day driving the cars for the purpose for which they were designed. More details are available on the forums list at the bottom of this post.
People with WRXs (inc Libertys) and EVOs (inc VR4 and GSR) are invited to enter. People are most welcome to come along and support their team as well, with some good vantage points at most venues.
ORGANISING COMMITTEE
The series organising committee shall consist of:
* Series Coordinator - Danny Cerro
* EvolutionOz Liaison - Glenn Sarti
* IWRXOC Liaison - Mandy Lister
EVENTS
The series will take place over four events over the year, with the signature event being the Collie EVO vs WRX Grudge Match which was very successful last year.
* AEM Superkhana: 8 March
* Jacks Hill Climb: 3 May
* MC Motorsport Autotest: 9 August
* EVO Vs WRX Grudge Match at Collie: 17 October
AWARDS
Trophies will be awarded for the following categories:
* Fastest Marque Perpetual Trophy
* Highest scoring WRX Driver
* Highest scoring EVO Driver
* Encouragement Award for each marque
