TSUNAMI RELIEF FUNDRAISING CRUISE

This cruise was originally posted by Syncope but has seemed to have disappeared from Antilag site.

After speaking to some of the members of the bigger car clubs in WA, we have decided to hold a Tsunami Relief Fundraising Cruise.

Over 120, 000 people have been pronounced dead, with this figure set to rise dramatically over time.

Basically, we ask you to come along and donate some money which will be going straight towards helping people who are currently in need. Although this is small scale, it will still help greatly. Every cent really does count in this case. So we ask you to come along and donate some money in exchange for a map. Myself (Alex), Ryan (Jilted - SilviaWA) and Tom (TJ - Antilag) will be collecting the money in exchange for maps. It would also help if you could ask family/friends/people at work to sponsor and help with donations. Also if you have friends in the media and can somehow get the word out, please do so.

This cruise is not limited to the clubs mentioned above. We ask people to spread the word and post it anywhere you like. Im not a member of all the forums, so it would be greatly appreciated if you could spread the word.

Ok now here is the important bit, ANY HOON ACTIVITY WILL RESULT IN A BEATING. Seriously, there is to be no burnouts, street racing, drifting etc etc. If this happens police will be contacted immediatelly and your plate number will be given to them. Its a serious cause and we dont need anyone fucking it up with their stupidity. If you cant hold out from being a hoon for one day of the year, we simply ask for you not to come along. Police will be contacted before the cruise also.


Date: Monday 3rd January (Public Holiday)
Time: 6.30pm meet, 7.30pm depart.

Heya Fellas, I found your cruise last night by pure fluke.....I was actually on my way to get a pizza and I see about a million skylines and hotted up cars going past me on Stirling Highway and theres no way in hell i could say no to that......The pizza was no longer a priority.

Some of you's might have seen me, Silver Rex with 22B spoiler and LED washers, I just wanna say good job last night with that......I noticed 95% of you all actually drove responsibly.....thats the kinda stuff the cops need to see more of to get off us P Platers case.....im still getting pulled over once or twice a day lol

let me say a few words though - i didnt do this for me, antilag or for anyone here. i did this with these guys for those over in asia who dont have the chance to have a life like ours. the generousity of you all astounds me, 3.1klast night with that set to push 4k by weeks end. that is 4 houses built in ache

only 4 you say ? imagine each family of 10 dieing because no one built them a home... now think about what weve done. weve enriched lives, no matter how little. ppl may say on thats not enough, but when a family in desperate aid gets this im sure they will thank you with all their hearts. yesterday was super rich, but we gave from the heart, and my most postive thoughts go out to you.

to see the amount off ppl pull together in 3 days to do this is awesome. i think this screen cannot tell u how honoured i feel to have done what we did yesterday, and to have the chance to address a crowd of ppl all with the same intentions and thoughts was a truly awe inspiring life changing thing. for the first time ever ive done something with no regard to how it would benefit me. for once i wasnt a selfish little brat. im proud of myself even if no one else is

i thank each and every one of you once again.

There were only about 3-4% of the attendees that did "silly stuff" but what do you expect with the turnout that was acheived. It has to be, the biggest cruise, I've ever seen.

don't have mine rendered yet but i can tell you that i have 28 minutes of us dealing with the plod at the start. along with every car leaving the start as well.... the rest is just me, marc, hugh, and kieran pulling the piss out of tristan at every given opportunity. such an easy target :shake:
