Yeah man, private sale. Trade in is fucked.
If they can't sell privately then look to trade in.
she should have no troubles in selling it privately someone will snap it up and you will get more than trade in.

The way Ford sales are at the moment you might be surprised at what they offer for a trade...
I'd go down to Lane Ford in Mandurah & have a chat to them. They have heavily discounted all stock & may want to move something just to keep sales up. Can't hurt

I like how you have no mention of it being a girl selling, but with the car being a Ford Fiesta, it's just assumed haha.

play the dealers off against eachother for the sale - extras included and best price - have them wave onroad costs for starters...i got 3 g's off mine when purchased new VW..worked a treat - unfortunately only two dealers for them in Perth...with the Ford you should get a cracker deal by just shopping hard
and private sale for the win...i got offered less than a grand for my 97 GLS Sonanta (fail car, i know) was in top nic with service history, electric everything and quality after market stereo...ended up getting 5.5 in a private sale!

Give seaview a ring there good on service
Lol, You people have no Idea how car yards run :P
Dont ask for free on roads, or freebies, as the money has to come form some where to pay for them. Only ask for the things you need, Ring up a few dealers and play them off each other, Unless your buying a Toyota, ill look after ya on that ;)

i got 3 g's off mine when purchased new VW..
That's because the GTI is the most overpriced car on the planet ;)
Ben351: Let me know how you go with price, I'm very close with one of the Ford dealerships in Perth. Happy to see what they can do over the price you get from elsewhere.

I've never had Centre Ford been beaten on pricing for the last 7 Ford's I've bought off them. I bought my XR5 off them drive-away price for less than the advertised price excluding ORC and dealer delivery. $37.5k from memory. PM me if you want salesman's details.

My family have bought about 3 new cars from there and they have always been the cheapest.

when i bought a brand new mazda for the mrs, i ended up buying from a country dealer - albany world of cars, they were 2k cheaper than any perth dealer plus the car was delivered on a truck to my door with 12months rego , floormats & a full tank of fuel.

Lane Ford are pretty good, my family's always managed to get good deals at Titan Ford too, but probably only because my old man worked there over 10 years ago. But still, if they still give good deals out after 10 years they must be alright.
