hey guys, kinda fucked up today and im sure you wil have a big laugh but i need some advice
OK well a mate of mine has a fairly heavily modified wrx with power fc. It had been tuned by x speed and he was never really happy with it. He was going to get it retuned when he got some more cash. Anyway today it stated backfiring on acceleration occasionaly so he was looking at the hand controller. I had had a few too many beers was looking at the diagnostic function when my fat fingers decided to mash the controller and ended up with a simple YES or NO option.
Thinking that no was probably the more sensible option and what most people would choose seeing as it was mostly in jappanese i decided to hit YES......lol
Kinda of a bad idea seeing as it has now reverted back to the standard tune you get with the power FC. And the xspeed tune is long gone. Kinda funny seeing as its not my car.....but i kinda feel bad. The car would now not even idle as it had 800cc injectors and z32 airflow meter
I have replaced the standard injector duty cycle values with those from the old xspeed tune and the car now idles fine, and runs fine below 4000rpm when it comes onto boost.
Is the Xspeed tune completely gone? he is away now for a week so ill get it tuned for him
Who can i take this too who is a competent tuner ad get the most out of it. Its got a built engine, modified td06, ad built gearbox. The last tune by Xspeed netted 210awkw @ 15psi.
They wouldnt tune it past 15psi because...well they said they didnt want too. The guy over east who built the turbo said it should be good for 250awkw at 30psi.
any help would be great
