sure is, if its the same one I saw its somthing like 200 Canon G10 Point and shoot photos stitched together, prety kool, took like 6 hours to stitch haha.

its well done. found only one small area that didn't match properly. Wouldn't mind a few of the lenses use in the crowds. Where's all the snipers

The gigapan gear works with point n shoots only, as its not big enough to handle a DSLR...

It is a computer controlled setup that takes a bundle of photos and stitches them together for you....

It's not a bad marketing idea... you buy a "gigapan epic" that takes the photos, use the "gigapan stitcher" to stitch them together and then upload them to "gigapan.org"
