Does anyone know if they can be repaired?

My power fc d-jetro for my s1 s14 will run the car but for some reason it makes the injectors max out and they couldnt stop it from running rich when i got it installed and tuned they couldnt stop it from running way to rich and overfueling at idle and up etc even with the injectors leaned out as far as they could go... Anyone had this problem or know if an where they can be fixed?? Also does anyone know if there is any wires that need to be swapped around in the harness other than the air temp sensor coz as far as i was aware they were just straight plug and play??

What injectors? And who installed it?

Everythings stock apart from cooler and exhaust was done by aaron at intune performance

check that wiring to inj is correct

also check that settings in powerfc are all good ie the correct injector size.

could be a inj. timing lag issue where that setting is not set correctly

Was it tuned with the hand controller or FC datalogit?

Ok cool ill have alook but they loaded a base map for a sr20 onto it so i thought that everything should be ok but ill double check those things.. as for being tuned via h/c or fc datalogit i have no idea, would this make a big difference?

as rrub say, it actually does make a difference

data loogy can change things that the hand controller cannot.... im preety sure its a incorrect inj setting which can be changed under settings.

Fryer DJ has 2 fuel maps only 1 is accessable via the HC. I'd be checking the tune before you do anything else. How could they load a map when it comes with a base map loaded that would drive the car fine.

Hmmmmmm very interesting i think ill take it to xspeed and get them to have alook at tuning it etc an see whats going on with it they are prob the ones who have the most exp in tuning these yeah??? anyways thanks heaps for all the help guys much appreciated :)

hmm thats not quite correct

as far as research goes, there is one map, usually in the idle region its untunable, as the powerfc uses its own subsection of the map for idle.. but that shouldnt matter in this situation.

powerfc can only hold one map!!

base map injection = base map fuelage + injector map .. well thats the way it works on rotarys

im sure this issue lies in the injector settings if you cant lean it out enough, that or the FPR is too high perhaps pushing the injectors too hard
