Anyone got this?
How you finding it?

I only just installed it then and am still getting used to the layout...

One of the hassles I have is that the text font i need to work with, isnt showing up on the workspace.
It is on the font list, but PS doesnt seem to want to let me use it to actually write.
Is there a way to fix this?

i would go back to CS3 but after formatting i cant find it to install it again.

I had that font error.

Open fonts folder and delete them then copy+paste one at a time

I have the CS4 Master Collection.. The new premiere is mint!

Anyone have any real input? I'm running cs3, is it a worthwhile upgrade?

also, 'ZXZ', how many fonts are you running? It might pay to install a third party font manager, don't know off the top of my head what there is for windows, but sometimes a font utility can index your collection properly and adobe will read from them better.

Linux is gay for desktop use... i'll only run it on my servers at home/work.

Not worth the coin upgrading unless your into serious design/editing.

Unless you use it for work or on a daily basis I doubt the upgrade is worth it.

Adobe software has gone to shit on both Windows and OS X. Bloatware ftl.

Where did Linux come into this?

Cheers fourseven, been hesitant to upgrade because CS3 does everything great, and is incredibly stable, even on my outdated motorola G5 ppc. If cs4 is anything like I imagine, its just a snazzy facelift with some extra features one would never use, and using them is like wearing a sombrero with the word 'noob' on it in huge script? Stuff spending thousands more when the status quo is suitable.
