Targeted at 'young people' who make up 25% of serious crashes. Perfectly valid statistic to use in their argument.. article doesn't hold any weight at all, then again perthnow is never exactly a challenging read..

Targeted at young people, who are represented in 25 per cent of serious crashes
Shouldn't they spend the money targeted at older people, who make up 75% of serious crashes??
Even if this is successful in reducing the road toll there will be a bigger rise in the level of injuries/deaths to those people who dob in others. Imagine if your car was confiscated because your 'mate' dobbed you in...
gotta love the add for alcohol that goes with a road safety article, fucking hypocrites

doesnt make any fucking sense
very easy to explain..
As i work in the international room at the casino i meet a lot of people with money/influence.. they often tell me about when they have been over limit. The older generation do drink drive but they dont have modified cars or do burnouts.. How often have your parents had a few drinks then carefully driven home over the limit? This in the generation that is in parliament and make the rules - they arent going to make it harder for themselves...
