ok well the storey goes the car was bought through prestige in may LAST YEAR under the 15 year rule but couldnt come across until this yeah so to cut a long storey short the rims got stolen in japan on the wharf they dropped the car on the kit... kit was FUCKED beyond repair. the rims where replaced under insurance but due to the EXTREMELY high cost of the rim replacement they only gave me $1000 for bodykit "repairs" so the car came over VERY fucked.... interior is NICE just needs abit more of a clean but very good cond. for its age.... the rims that were given to me were actually 1 inch wider that the originals so they stuck out by A MILE. SO then i started looking around to get it fixed, took it to fibrevision got a quote to fix the kit to cover the rims and follow the original lines of the kit easy as $3000 painted (same colour wine red) BUT the DODGY jap kit was tooooo dodgy so had to rip it off and start again. i started looking for designs and came up with that using ideas from different cars. price got bumped up to 7k for FULL custom bodykit and like 3K for respray in the same colour.... sat there for 5 months b4 they touched it then they worked hard finished it i had to make some changes along the way like adding flares etc etc then the colour change and flake in the paint so yeah it was a $12,500 which was a discount from the $15,000 which is would have cost full price!!. yeah so VERY expensive WAY to expensive :( but yeah its diffent to say the least... then i have custom air struts to go in 3.7k and dvd screen another couple of G's so yeah this project turned out VERY $$$$$ seeing i have spent $20,000 on kit,paint, suspension and dvd player hahaha plus cost of car.... makes me cry thinking about it hahaha

Mate, first off, amazing car. DEFINATELY the best VIP car i've seen in Australia, especially because it was built with you're money, not some workshop's money who now uses it for promotion.

As for the engine, go to www.alsc.aus.as for some tips on airbox mods etc.
5k will get u a blower designed for the 1UZ-FE, it will go HARD with ones of these bolted on. You've come this far mate, may as well go the whole 9 yards aye.

got the big knock back!!! due to few lighting drama's and the fact that the rims were to big for the tyres so yeah other than that the kit was FINE :D happy with that.

man these kits are extreme, must be an aquierd taste :)

anyway yeah i read a few pages back that you have a set of aftermarket airbags for this?? Think you could hook a brother up on where i can get some of these ;)
Looking for a celsior with stock air suspension and will need replacements as the standard airbags have a reputation for failing after a few hundred thousand clicks. 3k a peice for standard replacments, dont think so lol

Peaking about these import law changes as was about a 7 weeks of my 16k saving mark the celsior and the pricks change it on me :( Was organising for guys at prestige to line me up a 1990 celsior with a 96 front end, all painted, kit (midget compared to yours mate hehe) rims so yeah. now will cost me atleast 5-8k extra to get a stiock one locally and 20k+ to make all the changes :squint: :mad:
