by the looks of it a twin outlet intercooler. the turbo would feed straight across to the top tank of the cooler,then the split outlets supplys one side of the motor each. basicly shorter piping lengths? quiker boost response.
so the reason for them facing outwards is the outlet pipes out of the cooler run almost direct to the plenums without measy plumbing?

looks insane cant wait to see it..

Looking for R31 hit the nail on the head. Twin 60mm throttle bodies. Beau car will still be street registered but impossible for it to be legal unless its b reg'd but is built for sprints, drags, hillclimbs etc etc

Cheers for the comments lads. Still a bit of work ironing out gremlins, smoothening out the tune etc BUT it made MV05 and made lots of noise..........Goes pretty damn nicely...walks on the road in 3rd gear!!
