just saw this..
they pretty cheap be interesting to actually try one and see if theres any difference. i mean what they got have abit of timing in them and shit, dont see the harm if your has front mount, boost , exhuast and pump not exactly worth paying fukn nistune $100s to custom tune a Rom for you for so little mods only to pay them again once you upgrade something.

or paying money for something that can easily toast your motor, and make less power than a relatively cheap nistune board?
nistune + more power and drivability > dodgy chip + blown motor

has anyone actually tried any of them ?
from wat i hear most are just copies of MINES roms unless MINES has been toasting peoples ecus for years then i highly doubt theyd be that bad as to do damage.

Even MINES roms are useless in Oz, as there tuned for higher octane than is available here.
Get it tuned properly (ie nistune), or just leave the stock ecu to its merry way.

i ran a complete mines ecu with my last 20...vg30 highflow, front mount etc and a bar never had a problem ? would have same settings as the roms i would imagine ?

the issue is you dont know what your getting.
If one was to go with one, would definitely want to check it on the dyno to ensure its safe.
Mines ROM's are tuned to suit the car they are installed in. Just like nistune. Although nistune is far more advanced with live editing etc.
