this is the upper control arm/spring seat for an XG ute, so same as XF falc
Trying to remove the horizontal nuts to replace bushes with nolythene ones.
Got one off (far top of pic) with freeze spray+blowtorch+50L compressor+SP 1/2" rattle gun
Bottom one won't budge, no matter what. Also the only way to undo the nut is for the whole shaft to spin smacking the bolts that are welded perpindicular through it into the arm itself, you can see where i've threaded the nut on the lower perp to stop fuckin the threead where the sleeve has spun the shaft against the arm. and also also cut into the arm from the force because the end nut is stubborn
Short of getting the 3/4inch CP rattle gun on it at work next Monday what can I do to get it off? Has anyone used a nut splitter like this.

or ground a nut off with a grinder before? what disc should I use?
and how do I get the bushes out after that is there a special tool? they aren't going to slip out easily I think the thin metal sleeves holding the bushes will crumple and become a pingpingpingping before the unit slips out
new bushes are replacement steel sleeves with nolythene bushes, trying to do a straight swap. this thing was unsafe to drive before i took em out and i think the problem lies here, bushes are shredded/torn
edit- also noltec, superpro and nolythene don't do a replacement with the bushes already pressed in (or without) and no ford dealerships seem to care, wrecker replacement would probably be just as fucked. not to mention i'd have to spend 5 hours ripping it out then pay for it get it home and it'd be the same
anyone here have a business relationship with a wreckers that may have one out of a car i could inspect?
