Where: Perth and Surrounds
When: 19 July
More Info: www.classicrally.com.au

Just like the Classic Challenge but only running for 1 day (as the name suggests). Awesome event that is great value for money while at the same time not chewing up your whole weekend! To prove its popularity the first event of this kind held in Nov 2008 sold out in just 8 days!!!

you dont have to have somebody else drive it. you can drive it the whole day. you just need a navigator (eg: a mate).

The event is very straightforward to enter - you need two people, each with a competition license (we can issue these at $50 per person for a 12-month license) and good quality helmets. Either crew member can drive any stage of the rally. There will be multiple runs at some stages so each can have a go. Your car needs to be in sound, roadworthy condition, and fitted with a first aid kit and fire extinguisher - see Event Regulations for full details.

^^ R u sure coz it could read both ways! if so I a in 100% ill get work to finish the car if need be!! I want to drive my car finally!

LOL $570 + $70 insurance!!

Im going drinking with you! No you are right though, for what it is and the costings involved it will be a great day out.

My L2S license will be sufficient yes? If my navigator odesnt drive must they posses a license?

And at an event like this is long sleeves enough with long pants and a helmet or do we need race suit?

I was actually at the fabcar event, was just never involved so any info would be great!

so can someone confirm.. ( not saying your wrong tocchi!! ) if we must have a second driver or just a navigator...

as the site states...

There is no navigation, but simple route instructions provided in the Roadbook.

The event is very straightforward to enter - you need two people, each with a competition license

It reads both ways... I will call monday the mobile off site and ask but if anyone can confirm? As my car will have only seen 1000km since rebuild.. if that. im not ready to let someone else drive it yet!

Yes cock. Even though you can do the rally without a 'navigator', it IS A REQUIREMENT so you must have one. They can either drive with you or just go along for the ride. My 'navvy' last year didnt even get out of the passenger seat. lol

Two people need to be in the car; either can do as much or as little driving as they like.

And for those that say its expensive; its actually not too bad!

The only other two person event I know of is Targa West.

The missus is finally getting excited about being the navvy.
